Leidos is seeking a Field Service Specialist to support the OCONUS Enterprise Network (ONE-Net) as part of the NGEN-R SMIT contract. This role is based in Manama, Bahrain and involves Tier I/II support, network security, system maintenance, and IT troubleshooting for the U.S. Navy’s largest IT services program.
Key Responsibilities
🔧 Technical Support & Maintenance: Coordinate maintenance and restoration activities with TNOSC & LNSC leadership.
🛡️ Network Security: Implement security measures through manual configurations, patch installations, and scripts.
📡 Remote & On-Site Support: Provide remote operations & maintenance support, deploy ONE-Net classified/unclassified data seats, and assist in migrations & deployments.
💻 System Configuration & Troubleshooting: Set up workstations, software, printers, and ensure proper user access.
📦 Hardware Transport: Move classified & unclassified hardware to/from remote customer locations.
📑 Documentation & Compliance: Develop and update site administration documents, ensuring compliance with STIGs & security protocols.
Requirements
🎓 Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree + less than 2 years of IT experience (or 4 years of IT experience in lieu of degree).
🇺🇸 Security Clearance: Active DoD Secret Clearance (U.S. Citizens only).
🔐 Certifications: DoD 8570 IAT Level II (e.g., Security+, CCNA Security).
💾 OS Certification: Microsoft Endpoint, Microsoft Azure, or equivalent (or ability to obtain before start).

Job Overview
Leidos is seeking a PC Refresh Technician to support the OCONUS Navy Enterprise Network (ONE-Net) efforts under the Service Management, Integration, and Transport (SMIT) contract in Manama, Bahrain. This role is part of the End User Hardware as a Service (EUHWaaS) task order, contributing to the modernization of U.S. Navy IT systems to enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
✔ Hardware Deployment & Configuration
- Install and configure new desktops, laptops, and peripherals as part of the EUHWaaS task order.
- Ensure systems are properly imaged, updated, and secured following U.S. Navy policies.
✔ Inventory & Documentation
- Track and manage hardware inventory throughout the refresh lifecycle.
- Maintain records of system configurations, data migration, and inventory tracking.
✔ Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide hardware/software troubleshooting during and after deployments.

What You'll Get to Do
- Support the deployment of new hardware as a service device (desktops, laptops, peripherals) as part of the EUHWaaS task order, including system imaging, software installation, configuration, and data migration.
- Configure systems per baseline image specifications, ensuring all new devices are set up with the required applications, operating systems, and security settings in accordance with Government policies.
- Track and manage hardware inventory throughout the refresh lifecycle, ensuring proper documentation of asset details, serial numbers, and disposition of old equipment.
- Maintain detailed records of the refresh process, including system configurations, user data migration, and inventory tracking. Ensure that all processes comply with established standards.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues during the refresh process, resolving issues promptly to minimize downtime for end users.
- Communicate with deployment leads and on-site end-user POCs for deployments to schedule and execute system replacements with minimal operational disruptions.
- Assist with the overall coordination of the EUHWaaS task, ensuring timelines and milestones are met. Report progress, challenges, and completed tasks to the project lead.
- Perform testing of systems pre/post-deployments to ensure they meet operational and security standards.
- Support refresh activities within the timeframe required by the Service Level Requirement (SLR).
You'll Bring These Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent and 2 years of related experience (Additional experience may be substituted for a degree).
- U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD Secret Clearance are required.
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+, CCNA Security, etc.).
- Minimum of one OEM network or OS certification (e.g., CCNA, MDAA, MEAA).
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
