↔ Field Service Engineer - BMS

We are looking for a skilled Field Service Engineer for BMS (Building Management Systems) to join our team. This role will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of BMS systems integrated with HVAC systems at various customer sites. If you're passionate about ensuring optimal functionality and energy efficiency, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on BMS-controlled HVAC systems to ensure optimal functionality and energy efficiency.
- Diagnose and resolve BMS-related issues affecting HVAC system performance, including sensor malfunctions, programming errors, or system misconfigurations.
- Respond to emergency service requests and perform corrective actions to minimize downtime and client disruption.
- Perform system upgrades, software updates, and modifications to BMS and HVAC systems to enhance functionality and ensure compliance with the latest standards and technologies.
- Recommend and implement improvements to system configurations for energy efficiency, comfort, and reliability.
- Install, configure, and commission BMS systems in coordination with HVAC equipment for new and retrofit projects.
- Programme, calibrate, and test system settings to ensure efficient system operation and balance HVAC systems with BMS functionality.
- Work with clients and contractors to integrate BMS and HVAC systems to meet project specifications and client needs.
- Document all service activities, including repairs, installations, maintenance schedules, and system changes.
- Provide detailed reports to clients on system status, performance, and any recommended actions or upgrades.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service logs, inventory, and parts usage.
- Collaborate closely with the project management team, HVAC technicians, and other engineers to ensure successful integration and operation of BMS and HVAC systems.
- Communicate effectively with team members, contractors, and clients to coordinate project timelines, system installations, and service tasks.
- Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations while performing site visits and service tasks.
- Ensure that installations, repairs, and maintenance comply with local codes and industry standards.
