What You’ll Do:
As a Winder, you will:
- Perform mechanical disassembly/reassembly of generator rotors in a high-quality and timely manner, including removal and installation of coupling, fans, retaining rings, blower hubs, wedges, and blocking.
- Perform major and minor repairs on Generator Stator (End winding repairs, full stator rewinds, wedging, applying chemicals, RTD connections, high voltage bushing replacement, and other related repairs).
- Perform this work using drawings, work procedures, or work orders with minimal supervision.
- Braze either by torch, carbon, or induction.
- Perform all electrical tests and inspections.
- Troubleshoot electrical or mechanical issues.
What You’ll Bring (Basic Qualifications):
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent two-year technical or trade school degree.
- Significant years of experience conducting and performing large generator repairs, including (generator stator rewinds, generator stator re-wedge, high voltage bushing replacement, end winding repairs, generator rotor repairs, brazing, etc.) in industrial and/or utility power plants.
- Experience performing mechanical component disassembly/reassembly work on large generators.
- Experience in conducting testing/inspection of generators in excess of 80 Megawatts.
- Proficiency in English is a must.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
- Ability and willingness to travel on short notice to customer sites located domestically and internationally 100% of the time.
- Ability and willingness to obtain and maintain unescorted access to a nuclear-fueled facility.
- Ability and willingness to work overtime and weekend shifts.
- Must pass drug and background screens.
What Will Make You Stand Out:
- Accomplished skills in your trade with experience on PG equipment.
- Ability or prior experience leading or supervising a team.
- Basic computer skills.

- أداء تفكيك/إعادة تجميع ميكانيكية لروتور المولدات بجودة وفي الوقت المحدد، بما في ذلك إزالة وتركيب الوصلات والمراوح والحلقات الحافظة و محاور المراوح والأوتاد والحجب.
- أداء الإصلاحات الرئيسية والثانوية على ستاتور المولد (إصلاحات الأطراف، إعادة لف الستاتور بالكامل، الأوتاد، تطبيق المواد الكيميائية، توصيلات RTD، استبدال غلاف الجهد العالي، وغيرها من الإصلاحات ذات الصلة).
- أداء هذا العمل باستخدام الرسومات وإجراءات العمل أو أوامر العمل مع الحد الأدنى من الإشراف.
- استخدام أسلوب اللحام بالحرارة أو الكربون أو الاستحثاث.
- أداء جميع الفحوصات والاختبارات الكهربائية.
- تشخيص المشكلات الكهربائية أو الميكانيكية.
ما ستجلبه (المؤهلات الأساسية):
- شهادة الثانوية العامة أو ما يعادلها من دبلوم فني أو شهادة مهنية لمدة عامين.
- سنوات من الخبرة في إجراء وإصلاح المولدات الكبيرة بما في ذلك (إعادة لف ستاتور المولد، إعادة وتد الستاتور، استبدال غلاف الجهد العالي، إصلاحات الأطراف، إصلاحات روتور المولد، اللحام، وغيرها) في المصانع الصناعية و/أو محطات الطاقة.
- خبرة في إجراء تفكيك/إعادة تجميع المكونات الميكانيكية للمولدات الكبيرة.
- خبرة في إجراء الفحوصات/الاختبارات للمولدات التي تتجاوز 80 ميغاوات.
- إجادة اللغة الإنجليزية شرط أساسي.
متطلبات الأهلية:
- يجب أن يكون لديك تصريح غير مقيد للعمل في الولايات المتحدة.
- القدرة والاستعداد للسفر في وقت قصير إلى مواقع العملاء في الداخل والخارج بنسبة 100% من الوقت.
