The Infrastructure Engineering team is responsible for building and maintaining a self-service internal development platform that enables MongoDB engineering teams to reliably deploy and operate their own production services and products. We work with numerous engineering teams across the company to understand their infrastructure requirements and development workflows, develop broadly applicable self-service platform services and tooling, continuously monitor how platform services are being utilized, and look for ways to improve developer productivity through automation and education.
We are big open source enthusiasts and use a number of open source tools in our stack (contributing upstream whenever possible). Some of the tools we use regularly include Go, AWS, Kubernetes, Crossplane, Terraform, Helm, Drone, Prometheus, and Grafana. However, technology is nothing without a stellar team of engineers that are focused on doing high quality work and working as a team to solve complex distributed computing and platform engineering problems. This is where you come in!
This role will be based remotely in EMEA.
Our ideal candidate:
- Pragmatic, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and understands the benefits of collaboration.
- Provides guidance and coaching to entry-mid level engineers.

Candidate Profile:
- We seek a respected and influential voice within the Django community to join our team. As an experienced developer, you have produced diverse technical content, including videos, blog posts, and conference talks, sharing insights, fostering discussions, and inspiring others to adopt best practices. Your passion lies in sharing knowledge and enabling fellow developers with cutting-edge technology.
- With at least five years of experience in a technical role, preferably as a developer within an enterprise environment, you bring extensive expertise in Django and understand the challenges developers encounter at large organizations.

Principal Staff Developer Advocate
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage and influence executives and technical decision-makers at Fortune 1000 companies and create awareness and understanding of our products.
- Aligned with Sales, work with our Strategic Developer Relations team (comprised of senior engineers with deep MongoDB experience) to develop and deliver technical engagements and targeted education sessions.
- Develop and maintain deep technical expertise in MongoDB's product and solutions as well as industry trends and competitors' offerings.

Qualifications:

Staff Engineer, Cloud Provider Billing
Responsibilities:
- Collect and aggregate metering data from a variety of internal and external services.
- Calculate and generate daily customer bills.

لديك:
- خبرة عميقة في بناء وصيانة الأنظمة واسعة النطاق.
- خبرة واسعة في القيادة الفنية، مع سجل حافل من النجاح في تسليم مشاريع كبيرة ومعقدة بشكل مستقل.
- أكثر من 10 سنوات من الخبرة في بناء وصيانة الأنظمة الموزعة ذات الأهمية الكبيرة.
- أكثر من 7 سنوات من الخبرة في العمل مع لغة JVM (يفضل Java) أو أي لغة موجهة نحو الكائنات.
- ذو خبرة في بناء الخدمات ونشرها ومراقبتها وصيانتها في بيئة الإنتاج.
- خبرة في استخدام قواعد البيانات غير العلائقية (على سبيل المثال، MongoDB) أو قواعد البيانات العلائقية على نطاق واسع.
