Job Overview
HelpAge International is seeking a passionate and experienced professional to lead our advocacy efforts on Universal Health Coverage (UHC). This role ensures that the needs of older people are prioritized globally, focusing on policy development, stakeholder engagement, and advocacy work within key global health platforms, including the WHO and the World Health Assembly.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead UHC policy advocacy for older people's rights
- Co-lead thematic action groups and campaigns on NCDs and UHC
- Engage with global health stakeholders, including WHO processes
- Contribute to resource development and fundraising opportunities
- Provide technical expertise and strategic analysis to support global initiatives
Essential Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in health and care, public health, or development contexts
- Proven skills in designing advocacy strategies and policy development
- Strong communication, analytical, and facilitation skills
