Assistant Food Storekeeper

About the Job

This position is responsible for maintaining the provision areas in a clean and orderly condition. The role supports the inventory team in fulfilling and completing all initiatives related to loading and storing inventoried items.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assist in receiving, storing, and issuing food and beverage-related items.
2. Maintain proper inventory rotation techniques by following the FIFO methodology.
3. Follow procedures for disposing of spoiled items and transport them to designated collection areas.
4. Operate forklifts and other related equipment used in the provision area as required.
5. Arrange, clean, and sanitize storerooms, freezers, and provision areas according to USPH standards. Use cleaning equipment, scrapers, brooms, and various hand and power tools to maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
6. Use a variety of cleaners and chemicals while following all safety regulations. Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adhere to MSDS specifications. Mix water and detergents or acids to prepare cleaning solutions as per specifications.
7. Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in good working order.
8. Participate in scheduled physical inventory counts to verify inventory accuracy.
9. Relieve the Storekeeper – F&B as directed by management.
10. Notify management of any malfunctions in lighting, heating, and ventilation equipment.
11. Assist the inventory team in maintaining all storerooms.
12. Support the Inventory Manager with assigned duties required for daily operations.
13. Comply with all corporate standards and procedures across the entire Celebrity fleet.
14. Follow ship rules and regulations as stipulated in the Employee Handbook and respect all senior ranking officers and fellow staff.
15. Attend and participate in all mandatory lifeboat safety drills on embarkation days and other port days as scheduled by the Master.

Laundry Attendant

About the Job

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for collecting soiled linen, sorting, washing, ironing, dry cleaning, and transferring linen to designated areas as needed. The role ensures that all laundry services for hotel guests meet standard policies and

are delivered on time. Additionally, the attendant correctly tags guest items and crew uniforms, then sorts laundry for appropriate actions like washing, dry cleaning, stain removal, pressing, and preparing for delivery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepare soiled linen for washing.
2. Sort linen based on the degree of soil and fabric type.
3. Ensure linen is free of garbage and sorted by color.
4. Inspect all guest and crew clothing for tears or damage before washing and report any issues to the Laundry Manager.
5. Load washers with properly weighted loads and select the correct formula. Complete wash cycles, ensuring terry items are folded properly and linen is well-pressed. Assist in transporting and stacking clean linen in the linen room.
6. Launder all onboard linen, guest clothing, crew uniforms, and personal clothing.
7. Count and verify items received according to laundry lists, ensuring accuracy and reporting discrepancies or damages.
8. Immediately report any valuable items found in guest or crew laundry, such as cash, jewelry, or cards, to the Laundry Manager.
9. Perform ironing and dry cleaning of guest laundry and crew uniforms.
10. Report any malfunctioning equipment or safety concerns to the Laundry Manager.
11. Use chemicals properly and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
12. Fold and stack linen on shelves.
13. Inspect linen quality before storing.
14. Clean all laundry equipment regularly.
15. Assist in other responsibilities when team members are absent or as assigned by the Laundry Manager.
16. Clean dryer lint screens and record maintenance in cleaning logs.
17. Assist in loading and unloading dryers and sorting washed laundry.
18. Check safety devices and turn on steam, water, and air valves as needed.
19. Be aware of all safety equipment locations in and around the laundry area in case of emergencies.
20. Check iron roll pressure.
21. Report any leaking valves, damaged insulation, or issues with air and water paths.
22. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
23. Follow environmental policies regarding waste collection, sorting, and disposal, as well as chemical use in cleaning, dry cleaning, and laundry operations.
24. Adhere to all SQM policies.
25. Perform additional duties as required.

6. غسل جميع البياضات الموجودة على متن السفينة، وملابس الضيوف، وملابس الطاقم، والزي الرسمي.
7. عدّ والتحقق من جميع العناصر المستلمة وفقًا لقوائم الغسيل، مع الإبلاغ عن أي اختلافات أو أضرار.

تتمثل مسؤولية هذا الدور في الحفاظ على مناطق التخزين في حالة نظيفة ومنظمة. كما يدعم فريق الجرد في تنفيذ جميع المهام المتعلقة بتحميل وتخزين المواد المخزنة.

المهام والمسؤوليات الأساسية

1. المساعدة في استلام وتخزين وصرف المواد الغذائية والمشروبات.
2. تطبيق تقنيات تدوير المخزون بشكل صحيح وفقًا لمنهجية FIFO.
3. اتباع إجراءات التخلص من المواد التالفة ونقلها إلى مناطق التجميع المخصصة.

6. استخدام مجموعة متنوعة من المنظفات والمواد الكيميائية مع الالتزام بجميع لوائح السلامة. ارتداء معدات الحماية الشخصية (PPE) والالتزام بمواصفات MSDS. خلط الماء والمنظفات أو الأحماض لتحضير محاليل التنظيف وفقًا للمواصفات.
