1. Airport & Ground Operations: Our Operations division has a handling capacity of 8 million passengers annually. It currently serves 36 regional and international airlines providing a comprehensive range of ground handling services including passenger and ramp handling, dispatch and aircraft load control, special services, baggage handling, etc. 2. Cargo Services: Our Cargo division handles 125,000 tonnes of freight annually including import, export and trans-shipment. The Cargo Terminal encompasses an area of 19,000 square meters with a multi-bay storage racking warehouse and a range of special facilities for perishables, valuables, dangerous goods and livestock. 3. Catering Services: The modern In-Flight Catering infrastructure covers an area of approximately 11,000 square meters and has a maximum production capacity of 35,000 meals daily. An average of 500,000 meals per month is currently produced to satisfy 125 different menus and provide seamless transport “from-production-to-aircraft”. 4. Aircraft Maintenance Services: Provides line maintenance, technical certification and troubleshooting under EASA Part-145 Maintenance Organization Approval. Main Objectives:
Overall responsibility for managing the airport and events program, including the day-to-day running of all the catering services at all sites. Ensure efficiency in operations, enhance revenues along with cost control mechanisms. Review standards and quality of services provided and submit recommendations for improvements. Manage the operational budget of airport lounges (including Royal and Awal Terminals), staff canteens, and ad-hoc events to ensure maximum productivity through resource utilization.
Main Duties:
- Direct and manage the activities of the assigned personnel in all locations and events and perform supervisory duties at the level established by management, ensuring consistent and robust delivery of contracts and agreements.
- Maintain a robust organization structure ensuring qualified and appropriate personnel are in each role and facilitate timely communication and requests to Human Capital to minimize vacancies and performance issues.
- Coordinate and deliver all special events linked to airlines and customers, both internally and externally, ensuring delivery meets customer expectations and requirements.
- Operate a model of continuous improvement, measured against customer metrics, e.g., NPS, for all policies and procedures, ensuring regular reviews are carried out and adjustments made to keep them fit for purpose.
- Coordinate all menu and special dietary requirement development across all stakeholders, ensuring timely refresh and comprehensive communications.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications and service requirements, confirming that all standards and specifications are accurate to deliver quality service and maintain client trust.
- Manage all staff training programs, ensuring full compliance in all mandatory and role-specific courses.
- Monitor and report on all customer complaints and compliments, ensuring timely investigations are completed and appropriate responses are provided to improve service quality and strengthen customer relationships.
- Engage with airline and airport customers to develop new and innovative product and service concepts, ensuring the company drives growth and measurable enhancements for customers.
- Comply with the company's and airport authorities' health, safety, and security requirements.
- Carry out other similar or related duties as directed by the management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Hospitality and/or Hotel Management.
- Experience: A minimum of 8 years’ experience leading Hospitality in 5-star hotels, experience in an airport operating environment is an advantage.
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience in delivering Hospitality services for large-scale, multi-site events.
