Responsibilities:
- Work directly with our growing roster of small- and medium-sized news publishers to migrate their sites to WordPress and launch on the Newspack platform.
- Troubleshoot technical and editor-facing issues as they arise, work with publishers to leverage and optimize Newspack’s feature set, and drive adoption of best practices in digital news publishing and monetization.
- Work closely with our product engineers to refine the Newspack product based on experience, expertise, and publisher input.
- Develop close relationships with your customers to understand their business/operational needs and technical challenges and help them achieve the greatest value from our products.

Technical Account Manager - Automattic Special Projects Team

As a Technical Account Manager (TAM) on the Automattic Special Projects team, your primary responsibility is ensuring partners have an excellent experience with WordPress and Automattic products— from initial partner onboarding through the entire support and maintenance lifecycle of a site. This involves close collaboration with our partners, designers, and developers to actualize partner requests, while also providing valuable feedback for product improvement to Automattic's teams.Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with our partners to resolve their incoming requests with high precision.

About You
You are an engineer with a drive for real-world outcomes. You may have a background as a full-stack engineer or as an engineer in enterprise or media — but you are ready to roll up your sleeves and work directly with a wide spectrum of interesting global customers.You have a solid understanding of modern PHP. You may also have roots in modern JavaScript — either front-end application frameworks or Node.js.
You will never stop learning. You have a willingness to rapidly learn new technologies and an excitement to debug unfamiliar applications.
You have excellent written English and can effectively communicate with customers and colleagues, sometimes under stressful circumstances. Communication is our oxygen and the basis of everything we do.

About the Role

Public Sector Marketing Manager, WordPress VIP
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies and plans that align with the company‘s goals and objectives, focused on government/public sector customers.
- Lead market research efforts to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive forces in the government sector.
- Collaborate closely with Content Marketing and Product Marketing to create industry-leading content that is aligned with WPVIP’s brand, positioning, and messaging, and that resonates with government decision-makers and influencers.
- Develop and manage marketing budgets, and allocate resources effectively to target government decision makers at every stage of the procurement process.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop lead generation and nurturing campaigns that target government officials and purchasing departments.
- Create closed-loop feedback with Sales to understand impacts and outcomes, and leverage learnings to inform future campaigns.
- Work cross-functionally to define and execute integrated marketing campaigns designed to generate high intent demand (including first-party events, third-party event sponsorships, paid and organic social media tactics, content creation and syndication, etc.).

About the role:
We're expanding our Developer Experience team at WooCommerce, seeking an experienced Developer Advocate to help developers discover, engage with, and succeed on our platform. As part of our team within the Customer Marketing department, you'll create technical content, foster community connections, and represent developer needs to shape our platform's future.
This role is remote, but English language proficiency is a requirement.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including tutorials and implementation resources.
- Facilitate developer communications through blog posts, newsletters, and launch materials.

Support Engineer, WordPress VIP
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining the quality, accuracy, and thoroughness that is part of our high-touch, concierge, technical support.
- Helping customers and teammates primarily through Zendesk tickets and real-time discussions. This involves some combination of research skills, technical tools and processes, detailed error reports, documentation, and debugging.
- Handling fast-moving situations, including urgent customer tickets and incidents.
- One-off projects involving complex dependencies and multiple partners.
- Observing and relaying chances to improve our platform, services, and overall offering.
- Building and updating internal and customer-facing documentation.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication. We’re a distributed team, so frequent and clear written communication is crucial.

Key responsibilities include:
