device development firm, is seeking a Director of Business Development (Europe) to drive business growth by expanding key accounts and building strong strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will be responsible for increasing revenue consistency, managing complex negotiations, strengthening client relationships, and achieving business development objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify new business opportunities within target accounts and potential clients.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with pharmaceutical and biotech companies to foster long-term partnerships.
- Analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies.
- Maintain and update customer data and activities in CRM systems.
- Represent Ora at industry conferences and international meetings to support growth and relationship-building.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the success of partnerships and provide ongoing support.
- Travel up to 30% to strengthen business relationships and expand Ora’s market presence.
- Adhere to quality standards, business ethics, and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development or sales.
- 5+ years of experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry with a strong understanding of drug development and clinical trials.
- Proven experience in Contract Research Organization (CRO) sales, preferably with ophthalmology expertise.
- Strong ability to build relationships and manage strategic partnerships.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Established connections with decision-makers in global and national pharmaceutical companies.
- A track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and strong negotiation and communication skills.

- السفر حتى 30% من وقت العمل لدعم العلاقات والتوسع الاستراتيجي.
- الالتزام بمعايير الجودة والنزاهة التجارية والتوافق مع الأنظمة التنظيمية.
المؤهلات والخبرات المطلوبة:
- درجة البكالوريوس في إدارة الأعمال أو مجال ذي صلة.
- خبرة لا تقل عن 7 سنوات في تطوير الأعمال أو المبيعات.
- 5 سنوات خبرة في قطاع التكنولوجيا الحيوية/الأدوية، مع معرفة شاملة بتطوير الأدوية والتجارب السريرية.
- خبرة في المبيعات داخل منظمات البحوث التعاقدية (CRO)، ويفضل خبرة في طب العيون.
- قدرة عالية على بناء العلاقات وإدارة الشراكات.
- مهارات تخطيط وتنظيم فعالة مع القدرة على إدارة الأولويات المتعددة.
- علاقات قوية مع صناع القرار في شركات الأدوية العالمية والوطنية.
- سجل حافل في تحقيق وتجاوز أهداف المبيعات.
- مستوى عالٍ من النزاهة والاحترافية مع مهارات تفاوض واتصال ممتازة.
