As a Telecom and Business Support System Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the excellence of our solutions. You will document test scenarios, map requirements to test cases, execute various tests, and document results. Additionally, you will collaborate with business and development teams, assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and contribute to defect tracking and resolution.

Responsibilities

• Execute Functional, Regression, Integration, End-to-End testing.
• Understand and document test scenarios based on discussions with functional, development, and business teams.
• Map requirements to test cases and produce test plans.
• Execute test cases, document results, collect logs/traces for validation, and manage troubleshooting/ticketing.
• Assist business users in performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Create and support daily metrics/status reporting.
• Escalate blocking issues to the Test Lead for resolution.
• Maintain an ongoing suite of automated test cases.
• Track defects using tools like Jira, Redmine, etc., and update tickets.
• Retest defects.

Requirements

• Good communication skills.
• Technical knowledge of test tools.
• Familiarity with test standards, methods, and procedures.
• Troubleshooting skills.
• Strong time management skills.
• Ability to manage timelines, duration, and escalations.
• Basic business process and application knowledge.
• Basic knowledge of application flows.
• Experience with UNIX, SQL, Unix, Python, and shell scripting.
• Knowledge of CNE concepts (nice to have).
• Knowledge of Agile delivery models, processes, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
