Lead Platform Engineer
About the job
In this role, you will:
- Work closely with the other engineering teams to architect services that are highly scalable and observable.
- Set up infrastructure and configuration as code using Kubernetes, Pulumi (Go), and Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Implement automation tools and frameworks for automatic code deployment (CI/CD).
- Set up and maintain observability and monitoring stack, as well as our deployment pipelines.
- Be part of the on-call rotation (shared between SRE and backend teams).
- Share your experience at conferences or blog posts if interested.
You will have:
- Hands-on cloud infrastructure experience on public cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
- Good knowledge of Postgres.
- Experience with Kubernetes, particularly using Kubernetes operators and running Postgres in Kubernetes.
- Experience with infrastructure as code.
- Experience with observability tools and incident management.
Nice to haves:
- Deep experience with operating database products at scale.
