We are collaborating with a rapidly growing proprietary trading firm to build a European Short-Term Power desk, expanding their current trading offerings.

Key Requirements:

• A proven track record of 3+ years trading systematic short-term EUR Power, with a focus on interconnectors (cross-border).
• Extensive experience in trading across European interconnectors.
• Strong proficiency in Python, with the ability to utilize programming skills to support systematic trading strategies.

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work autonomously while being a team player in a collaborative trading environment.
• Experience with systematic trading strategies is a significant advantage, but candidates with a non-quant background looking to enhance their technical and quantitative capabilities will also be considered.

The firm primarily operates using a systematic trading approach, and candidates with prior exposure to this type of strategy will be at an advantage. The team operates remotely, with an office in the UK, and flexibility is offered, though you must work within European time zone hours.
