Position Summary
We are seeking a Key Account Assistant Manager to join our team in Bahrain. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly) across key accounts. This role will focus on channel management, forecasting (sellout, sell-through, and sell-in), PSI, and improving sell-out performance.
Role and Responsibilities
- Plan and execute sales strategies for key accounts (retailers, resellers, and traders).
- Achieve market share and sales targets on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Provide senior management with market insights and recommendations to shape sales and service strategies.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including general managers, CEOs, buyers, product managers, and sales managers.
- Identify and address barriers to sales, working towards effective solutions.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet sales delivery requirements.
- Regularly inform clients about new products and pricing developments.
- Manage situational pricing across channels while ensuring pricing harmony among online platforms.
- Collaborate with local teams for the successful launch of new products and campaigns in the region.
- Develop and implement promotional strategies, including supporting media planners in reaching target markets.
- Allocate stock weekly by account and conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with key partners.
- Analyze market trends and work closely with direct retailers to address potential challenges.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role within the consumer electronics industry.
- In-depth knowledge of the Bahrain market and consumer electronics dynamics.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present to top management and clients.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Management.
- 5–7 years of experience in sales and category management.
- Proven ability to manage relationships with retailers and distributors.
- Fluency in English (excellent written and spoken).
