Job Description
As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing various financial tasks, including bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, and maintaining accurate records. You will be working with a dynamic team in a retail environment, handling Tally ERP operations and ensuring VAT compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting, Bookkeeping, and Financial Management
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions.
• Record journal entries and reconcile accounts on a regular basis.
• Record and reconcile daily sales, cash, and credit transactions.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Prepare and analyze retail performance reports, including sales, profit margins, and stock turnover.
• Handle point-of-sale (POS) system integration with financial records.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements.
2. Tally Operations
• Manage accounts using Tally ERP, including data entry, generating reports, and financial analysis.
• Handle inventory, billing, and GST entries in Tally.
3. VAT and Compliance
• Ensure compliance with applicable VAT laws and regulations.
• Assist in preparing VAT filings.
4. Other Duties
• Support the accounting team in all financial planning and tasks.
• Handle petty cash transactions and prepare expense reports.
Qualifications and Skills
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 2–4 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably in retail or similar industries with proven expertise in Tally ERP.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in Excel.

• إعداد وتحليل تقارير الأداء التجاري بما في ذلك المبيعات، هوامش الربح، ودوران المخزون.
• التعامل مع تكامل نظام نقاط البيع (POS) مع السجلات المالية.
• المساعدة في إعداد البيانات المالية، والميزانيات العمومية، وقوائم الأرباح والخسائر.
2. عمليات Tally
• إدارة الحسابات باستخدام Tally ERP بما في ذلك إدخال البيانات، وإعداد التقارير، والتحليل المالي.
• التعامل مع المخزون، والفواتير، وإدخالات ضريبة السلع والخدمات (GST) في Tally.
3. ضريبة القيمة المضافة (VAT) والامتثال
• ضمان الامتثال لقوانين وأنظمة ضريبة القيمة المضافة المعمول بها.
• المساعدة في إعداد ملفات ضريبة القيمة المضافة.
4. واجبات أخرى
• دعم فريق المحاسبين في جميع مهام التخطيط المالي.
• التعامل مع المعاملات النقدية الصغيرة وإعداد تقارير النفقات.
المؤهلات والمهارات
• التعليم: درجة بكالوريوس في المحاسبة أو المالية أو مجال ذي صلة.
• الخبرة: 2-4 سنوات من الخبرة في وظائف المحاسبة، ويفضل في مجال البيع بالتجزئة أو الصناعات المشابهة مع خبرة مثبتة في استخدام Tally ERP.
• معرفة قوية بمبادئ المحاسبة واللوائح المالية.
• إجادة استخدام Excel.
