Technology & Engineering Director (Chemical Industry) 

Your Mission

As Technology and Engineering Director, you will:

• Champion the start-up of our new Eagle plant and guide it to full design capacity.
• Enhance existing production processes focusing on efficiency, cost, and reliability.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations.
• Provide leadership and drive results in capital expenditures and innovative projects.

You will be based at our Rayong site in the Greater Bangkok area, Thailand, and report to the VP of Operations/Site Leader for Corbion Thailand.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Support Innovation & Operations: Lead the start-up of the Eagle plant and ensure optimal production capacity. Troubleshoot deviations and recommend process improvements.
• Drive Capital Projects: Oversee CAPEX maintenance programs and expansion projects, ensuring flawless planning, execution, and financial control.
• Lead the Technology and Engineering Teams: Manage multidisciplinary project teams, mentor staff, and foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

• Be a Site Leader: Provide proactive guidance as a member of the Corbion Rayong Management Team, aligning Engineering & Technology with Corbion’s vision.
• Champion Safety & Standards: Ensure designs and project executions comply with safety regulations and Corbion’s rigorous standards.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for an adaptable leader who thrives in complex, high-impact environments. Here’s what we’re seeking:

• A technical degree in chemical or process technology/chemical engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of project management experience, ideally in c-GMP/food-grade manufacturing.
• Proven experience in leading diverse, multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills, organizational expertise, and a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while managing multiple priorities.

• Commitment to fostering a positive, respectful, and inclusive workplace culture.
• An international mindset with the ability to bridge cultures.
• Willingness to relocate to Rayong in the Greater Bangkok area in Thailand. An attractive relocation package will be provided if needed.
