Summary: Perform a variety of duties on integrated multi-computer systems, video generation and display systems, complex digital interfaces, high-density cable/plug repair, software maintenance, and comprehensive troubleshooting and repair of general training device peripheral systems, in support of a F-16 Blk 40 Flight Simulator System located at Isa Air Base, Bahrain. This role includes performing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, managing spares, tracking inventory, and providing On the Job Training (OJT) to Bahraini personnel onsite. This is an overseas Field Service position and may require travel to other locations. A SECRET Clearance or the ability to acquire and maintain one is required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, or optical areas in support of a F-16 Flight Trainer at Isa Air Base, Bahrain.
- Calibrate, install, maintain, repair, and test flight simulators and other support equipment.
- Install changes and updates to simulators and support equipment.
- Perform readiness checks on flight simulation equipment and instruments.
- Conduct preventative maintenance checks on simulators and support equipment.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and document malfunctions of simulators and support equipment.
- Remove and replace faulty equipment, completing maintenance data collection records.
- Assist with installation and checkout of simulator and support equipment modifications.
- Work from engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
- Solve complex problems using manufacturer manuals or similar documents.
- Prepare shipping crates and assist with related shipping documents.
- Perform other related duties as required by a Site Manager or Program Management.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in electronics or a two-year electronics technician course at an accredited technical institute and/or military technical training with equivalent electronics maintenance experience.
- At least 5 years of electronic maintenance experience, demonstrating competence in maintaining simulation systems of similar complexity.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in integrated multi-computer systems, video generation and display systems, complex digital interfaces, cable/plug repair, software maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- CompTIA certification in Security+ and/or Network+.
Security Responsibilities:
- Comply with all company security and data protection policies and procedures.
- Responsible for the proper handling of information and materials and ensuring information confidentiality.
- Must have or be eligible for a DoD Personal Security Clearance.
Work Environment: This job operates in a controlled flight simulator environment using essential tools and test equipment. Standard office equipment is also used.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to walk, climb stairs or ladders into a simulator or cockpit.
- Ability to stoop, bend, and crawl under or over devices.
- Able to detect sounds or odors indicating potential issues with equipment.
- Must be able to distinguish colors.
- Work environment includes potential exposure to electrical hazards, cold, heat, airborne particles, and loud noises.

المؤهلات والمتطلبات التعليمية:
- - درجة البكالوريوس في الإلكترونيات أو دورة فني إلكترونيات لمدة عامين في معهد تقني معتمد و/أو تدريب تقني عسكري مع خبرة معادلة في صيانة الإلكترونيات.
- خبرة لا تقل عن 5 سنوات في صيانة الأجهزة الإلكترونية، مع إثبات الكفاءة في صيانة أنظمة المحاكاة ذات التعقيد المماثل.
المهارات المفضلة:
- خبرة في أنظمة الكمبيوتر المتعددة المتكاملة، وأنظمة توليد وعرض الفيديو، والواجهات الرقمية المعقدة، وإصلاح الكابلات/المقابس، وصيانة البرامج، واستكشاف الأخطاء وإصلاحها.
- شهادة CompTIA في Security+ و/أو Network+.
