Logistics Coordinator

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Logistics Coordinator located in Capital Governorate, Bahrain. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for managing drivers, deliveries and logistics for company daily delivery operations. The role also involves managing customer service, handling inquiries, and maintaining accurate records of all logistical activities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Order Management: Receiving, processing, and coordinating orders from the point of placement to delivery. 

Route Optimization: Planning and optimizing delivery routes for drivers to ensure efficient and timely deliveries, often using specialized software or tools. 

Driver Coordination: Communicating with and coordinating delivery drivers, providing them with necessary information and ensuring they have the resources to complete their routes. 

Tracking and Monitoring: Tracking the progress of deliveries in real-time, using GPS tracking systems, and proactively addressing any potential delays or issues. 

Communication: Maintaining clear and consistent communication with customers, drivers, and other relevant teams (e.g., customer experience, operations) about order status and potential issues. 

Issue Resolution: Identifying and resolving any issues that arise during the delivery process, such as traffic delays, incorrect orders, or customer concerns. 

Inventory Management: Ensuring accurate inventory counts and proper storage of food items to prevent spoilage or shortages. 

Document Management: Preparing and managing necessary shipping documents, invoices, and other paperwork related to deliveries. 

Compliance: Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and other relevant legal requirements. 

Reporting: Providing regular reports on delivery performance, including metrics like on-time delivery rate, average delivery time, and customer satisfaction. 

 

Skills Required:

Organizational Skills: Managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. 

Communication Skills: Effectively communicating with drivers, customers, and other team members. 

Problem-Solving Skills: Identifying and resolving issues quickly and efficiently.

وصف الدور

هذا منصب بدوام كامل لمنسق لوجستي في موقع الشركة بمحافظة العاصمة، البحرين. سيكون منسق اللوجستيات مسؤولاً عن إدارة السائقين وعمليات التوصيل والخدمات اللوجستية لعمليات التوصيل اليومية للشركة. كما يشمل المنصب إدارة خدمة العملاء، والرد على الاستفسارات، والاحتفاظ بسجلات دقيقة لجميع الأنشطة اللوجستية.

 

المسؤوليات الرئيسية:

إدارة الطلبات: استلام الطلبات ومعالجتها وتنسيقها من نقطة تقديمها حتى تسليمها. 

تحسين المسار: تخطيط وتحسين مسارات التسليم للسائقين لضمان تسليمات فعالة وفي الوقت المناسب، وغالبًا ما يتم ذلك باستخدام برامج أو أدوات متخصصة. 

تنسيق السائقين: التواصل مع سائقي التوصيل والتنسيق معهم، وتزويدهم بالمعلومات الضرورية والتأكد من أن لديهم الموارد اللازمة لإكمال مساراتهم.
