Sustainability Officer

Duties and Responsibilities:

➢ Lead Projects: Lead execution of current sustainability initiatives which include but are not limited to: o Implement energy-saving measures in our offices. o Increase recycling programs and reduce waste. o Drive community engagement activities related to sustainability. o Assist in creating and promoting green policies within the company. o Organizing timely sustainability committee meetings, taking down minutes, and ensuring implementation. o Sharing progress with the Marketing team for internal and external publication. o Support client's pre-qualification details related to sustainability.

➢ Research: Stay updated on new sustainability trends and practices.

➢ Collaboration: Work with our team to fulfill client sustainability requirements/documentation and guide the project team in executing LEED/WELL projects.

➢ Sustainability Reporting: Prepare and submit sustainability reports to stakeholders, highlighting the organization's progress towards its environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals.

➢ Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, suppliers, investors, and communities, to promote sustainability initiatives and address concerns.

➢ Compliance: Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, industry standards, and sustainability certifications.

➢ Innovation: Identify and discuss with the sustainability committee innovative solutions to improve the organization's sustainability performance, such as renewable energy projects, waste reduction programs, and sustainable supply chain practices.

Setter Out

Duties And Responsibilities

Reviewing project details as per the project kick-off received from the setting out manager

Preparing the project drawings schedule

Managing the shop drawings preparation and submittal process

Checking the materials allowed, details and incorporating all in detailed shop drawings. Clarifying discrepancies with line manager

Reviewing specifications of the project and obtaining clearance for discrepancies between specs and estimated details

Identifying project material requirements and samples requirements

Identifying and raising RFIs to the line manager for communicating with the project manager and for clarifications in a timely manner

Preparing quality shop drawings with high-level of detailing needs to take into consideration acceptable joinery practice and technique and consideration for wastage. Coordinating with factory on efficient detailing when required

Taking into consideration site-related parameters for access, assembly etc

Good knowledge of materials, technical properties and parameters, density, mechanical properties, homogeneity, available sizes, thicknesses, seasonal lead times, other constraints etc

Sourcing hardware accessories and optimising where possible, raising material requisitions to procurement in a timely manner

➢ قيادة المشاريع: قيادة تنفيذ مبادرات الاستدامة الحالية والتي تشمل على سبيل المثال لا الحصر: o تنفيذ تدابير توفير الطاقة في مكاتبنا. o زيادة برامج إعادة التدوير والحد من النفايات. o قيادة أنشطة المشاركة المجتمعية المتعلقة بالاستدامة. o المساعدة في إنشاء وتعزيز السياسات الخضراء داخل الشركة. o تنظيم اجتماعات لجنة الاستدامة في الوقت المناسب، وتدوين المحاضر، وضمان التنفيذ. o مشاركة التقدم مع فريق التسويق للنشر الداخلي والخارجي. o دعم تفاصيل التأهيل المسبق للعميل المتعلقة بالاستدامة.

➢ البحث: البقاء على اطلاع بأحدث اتجاهات وممارسات الاستدامة.

➢ التعاون: العمل مع فريقنا لتلبية متطلبات الاستدامة/التوثيق الخاصة بالعميل وتوجيه فريق المشروع في تنفيذ مشاريع LEED/WELL.

➢ إعداد تقارير الاستدامة: إعداد وتقديم تقارير الاستدامة إلى أصحاب المصلحة، مع تسليط الضوء على تقدم المنظمة نحو أهدافها البيئية والاجتماعية والحوكمة (ESG).

➢ إشراك أصحاب المصلحة: بناء علاقات مع أصحاب المصلحة الداخليين والخارجيين، بما في ذلك الموظفين والموردين والمستثمرين والمجتمعات، لتعزيز مبادرات الاستدامة ومعالجة المخاوف.

➢ الامتثال: ضمان الامتثال للوائح البيئية ومعايير الصناعة وشهادات الاستدامة.

تحديد طلبات المعلومات ورفعها إلى مدير الخط للتواصل مع مدير المشروع والحصول على التوضيحات في الوقت المناسب

إعداد رسومات ورشة عمل عالية الجودة، مع مراعاة أعلى مستويات الدقة والتفاصيل، يتطلب مراعاة ممارسات وتقنيات النجارة المقبولة، مع مراعاة الهدر. التنسيق مع المصنع لضمان دقة التفاصيل عند الحاجة.
