DeFi BD Specialist Position

Location: Europe, Middle East, and Africa (Remote)
Job Type: Full-Time, Mid-Senior Level
Required Skills: Business Development, Communication, and more advanced skills in the field

Job Overview:
As a DeFi Business Development Specialist at Polygon Labs, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, fostering collaborations, and expanding Polygon Labs' presence in the DeFi space. You will work closely with our product, marketing, and technical teams to develop and execute strategies to drive the adoption of our DeFi solutions on the Polygon network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in both in-person and virtual calls to pitch, onboard, and provide support for DeFi projects on Polygon networks.
• Travel globally to attend relevant conferences.
• Develop team strategies across various blockchains within the Polygon ecosystem.
• Manage DeFi native project pipelines.
• Build expertise around new DeFi primitives and create frameworks for project evaluation.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience working in DeFi.
• Experience working in a BD team, with effective communication skills to high-priority stakeholders.
• Extensive relationships within DeFi.
• Ability to quickly analyze new projects for their potential value to the Polygon community.
