Job Description:
WE Logistics is seeking an experienced Sales & Operation Manager to join the team. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in the logistics industry, with a strong background in Freight Transport / Courier Services. This role will focus on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to increase revenue, market share, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve company expansion and sales goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and stakeholders.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
- Prepare and present proposals to clients that align with their business needs and objectives.
- Attend industry events and conferences to promote the company and build relationships with potential clients.
- Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of shipments, to ensure efficient use of space and resources while maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Manage and coordinate local courier fleet, Transport Fleet, and operations staff.
- Establish KPIs to monitor operational performance, track progress, and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor and optimize transport & delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to courier and transport fleet teams.
- Ensure efficient and timely delivery of packages and shipments within the designated local area.
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues related to deliveries, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in logistics, with a strong background in Freight Transport / Courier Services.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful business development strategies and achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Strong customer focus and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong knowledge of local traffic regulations, routes, and geography within the designated area.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines.
- Effective leadership and team management abilities, focusing on motivating and developing employees.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Ability to respond to client escalations after traditional working hours.
- Valid visa for Bahrain and own car.
