Role Overview
We seek a bubbly, dynamic individual to join our Calexico Bahrain team. Must be familiar (or willing to learn) with all aspects of the front house and floor responsibilities: welcoming guests, seating them at tables, presenting menus, informing them about our specials and events, etc.
Requirements
- Customer Greeting and Seating: Warmly welcome guests and escort them to their tables.
- Menu Presentation: Provide detailed information about the menu, including portion sizes, ingredients, and potential allergens.
- Specials and Events: Inform customers about weekly specials and upcoming events.
- Menu Recommendations: Offer menu suggestions when requested.
- Product Up-selling: Appropriately recommend additional products to enhance customer experience.
- Order Taking: Accurately take food and drink orders using POS systems, order slips, or memorization.
- ID Verification: Check customer IDs to verify legal age for alcohol consumption.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any issues.
- Dining Area Maintenance: Arrange table settings and keep the dining area clean and tidy.
- Billing: Deliver checks and handle bill payments promptly.
- Health Compliance: Adhere to all relevant health department regulations.
- Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service to all guests.
- Reservation Management: Politely answer phone calls and manage reservations.
General Requirements
- 21+ years of age
- Bahrain resident or willing to relocate at their own expense
- Fluent in English, written and spoken. Preferably in Arabic as well, but not a must.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Willing to work in a multicultural environment
About the Benefits
