Road - Infrastructure Deputy Design Director
About the Job
We are seeking a Deputy Director-Design Road-Infrastructure with experience in Consultancy Engineering firms. This role is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and involves onsite work.
Job Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Alignment with Organizational Goals: Ensure all projects align with the organization's broader goals and strategic objectives.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Project Supervision: Supervise the entire lifecycle of projects, from initiation to completion, ensuring all phases are executed according to the plan.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work meets the required standards and specifications.
- Timeline and Budget Monitoring: Monitor project timelines and budgets, making adjustments as necessary to stay on track.
- Infrastructure Design Leadership: Lead infrastructure design projects, including urban design, planning, and road/infrastructure design.
- Review of Designs: Review the final drafts for road design and water infrastructure projects.
- Project Management: Deliver the Roads and Infrastructure of the city, managing PMC services and representing the client during the construction of roads/infrastructure and public realm.
- Specialized Coordination: Lead the distribution of professional infrastructure planning and design expertise for wet utilities (Potable Water, Wastewater, Stormwater, TSE & Irrigation Mains, and Public Hydrant Fire Fighting Service Mains and Networks), with knowledge of dry utilities' requirements (power and telecom).
- Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and the public.
Job Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering; a Master's degree in related fields is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience working with international consultants and government entities.
- Technical Expertise: Direct experience with technical designs and hydraulic modeling of various utilities networks using industry-standard software such as WaterCad, SewerCad, StormCAD, CivilStorm. Also, experience with pipeline design using Autodesk Civil 3D and the preparation and delivery of detailed designs and tender documents.

نحن نبحث عن نائب مدير تصميم بنية الطرق التحتية ذو خبرة في شركات الاستشارات الهندسية. هذه الوظيفة تقع في أبوظبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة، وتتطلب العمل في الموقع.
مسؤوليات الوظيفة:
- تخطيط المشاريع: تطوير خطط مشاريع شاملة، بما في ذلك النطاق، والجداول الزمنية، والميزانيات، وتخصيص الموارد.
- التوافق مع أهداف المنظمة: ضمان توافق جميع المشاريع مع الأهداف الاستراتيجية الأوسع للمنظمة.
- إدارة المخاطر: تحديد المخاطر المحتملة وتطوير استراتيجيات التخفيف لضمان نجاح المشروع.
- الإشراف على المشاريع: الإشراف على دورة حياة المشروع بالكامل، من البداية حتى الانتهاء، وضمان تنفيذ جميع المراحل وفقًا للخطة.
- ضمان الجودة: التأكد من أن جميع الأعمال تلتزم بالمعايير والمواصفات المطلوبة.
- مراقبة الجداول الزمنية والميزانية: مراقبة الجداول الزمنية للمتابعة والميزانيات للمشاريع، مع إجراء التعديلات اللازمة للحفاظ على سير المشروع.
- القيادة في تصميم البنية التحتية: قيادة مشاريع تصميم البنية التحتية، بما في ذلك التصميم الحضري، والتخطيط، وتصميم الطرق/البنية التحتية.
- مراجعة التصاميم: مراجعة المسودات النهائية لتصاميم الطرق ومشاريع البنية التحتية للمياه.
- إدارة المشاريع: تنفيذ مشاريع الطرق والبنية التحتية للمدينة، مع إدارة خدمات PMC وتمثيل العميل أثناء بناء الطرق/البنية التحتية والفضاء العام.
- التنسيق المتخصص: قيادة توزيع خبراء تخطيط وتصميم البنية التحتية للموارد الرطبة (المياه الصالحة للشرب، المياه العادمة، مياه الأمطار، شبكات المياه المعالجة والري، وشبكات مكافحة الحرائق العامة)، مع معرفة احتياجات الموارد الجافة (الكهرباء والاتصالات).
- التنسيق مع الأطراف المعنية: التنسيق مع الأطراف المعنية الداخلية والخارجية، بما في ذلك الهيئات الحكومية، والمقاولين، والجمهور.
مؤهلات الوظيفة:
- المؤهل العلمي: درجة بكالوريوس في الهندسة المدنية؛ ودرجة الماجستير في مجالات ذات صلة مفضلة.
- الخبرة: خبرة لا تقل عن 15 عامًا في العمل مع الاستشاريين الدوليين والكيانات الحكومية.
- الخبرة التقنية: خبرة مباشرة في التصاميم الفنية ونمذجة الهيدروليك لشبكات المرافق المختلفة باستخدام برامج الصناعة القياسية مثل WaterCad وSewerCad وStormCAD وCivilStorm. بالإضافة إلى خبرة في تصميم الأنابيب باستخدام Autodesk Civil 3D وإعداد وتسليم التصاميم التفصيلية ومستندات المناقصة.
