The Electrical Technician will perform specialized maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of electrical systems and equipment during scheduled outages at a nuclear facility in the UAE. The role ensures that all tasks comply with stringent safety standards, regulatory requirements, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preventive and Corrective Maintenance: Conduct maintenance on electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, instrumentation, and emergency backup systems.
- Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose electrical faults using the appropriate tools and techniques; execute timely repairs to minimize downtime.
- Installation: Install new electrical equipment and systems based on project specifications and engineering drawings.
- Commissioning: Participate in commissioning activities to ensure systems are operational and meet performance criteria.
- Outage Schedule Adherence: Work efficiently within outage schedules to complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- Team Coordination: Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless execution of outage activities.
- Safety Protocols Compliance: Adhere to nuclear safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies.
- Safety Culture Participation: Participate in safety briefings and contribute to a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Diploma or Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an Electrical Technician, preferably within the nuclear or high-reliability industrial sectors.
- Experience with Outages: Proven experience working during plant outages or in high-pressure maintenance situations.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Skilled in using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment, such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
- Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of nuclear safety standards and regulatory requirements is highly desirable.
Certifications:
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician (CMRT) or equivalent.
- Possession of necessary UAE work permits or willingness to obtain upon hiring.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities during outages.

المسؤوليات الرئيسية:

- التكليف: المشاركة في الأنشطة المتعلقة بتكليف الأنظمة لضمان تشغيلها وتلبية معايير الأداء.
- الالتزام بالجداول الزمنية: العمل بكفاءة ضمن جداول التوقفات لإتمام المهام ضمن الأطر الزمنية المحددة.
- التنسيق مع الفرق المتعددة التخصصات: التنسيق مع الفرق المتعددة التخصصات لضمان تنفيذ أنشطة التوقف بسلاسة.
- الامتثال لبروتوكولات السلامة النووية: الامتثال لجميع بروتوكولات السلامة النووية، اللوائح البيئية، وسياسات الشركة.
- المشاركة في ثقافة السلامة: المشاركة في اجتماعات السلامة والمساهمة في تعزيز ثقافة السلامة والتحسين المستمر.
المؤهلات والمهارات:
- التعليم: دبلوم أو درجة جامعية في الهندسة الكهربائية، تكنولوجيا الكهرباء، أو مجال ذي صلة.
- الخبرة: من 3 إلى 5 سنوات من الخبرة كفني كهربائي، ويفضل في القطاعات النووية أو الصناعية ذات الموثوقية العالية.
- الخبرة في التوقفات: خبرة مثبتة في العمل أثناء توقفات المحطات أو فترات الصيانة ذات الضغط العالي.
- المهارات الفنية: إتقان قراءة وتفسير المخططات الكهربائية، الرسومات الهندسية، والكتيبات التقنية. ماهر في استخدام أدوات اختبار وتشخيص كهربائية مثل الملتيمترات وأجهزة رصد التذبذب.
- المعرفة الصناعية: المعرفة بمعايير السلامة النووية والمتطلبات التنظيمية تعد ميزة كبيرة.
الشهادات:
- الشهادات ذات الصلة مثل فني الصيانة والموثوقية المعتمد (CMRT) أو ما يعادلها.
- الحصول على تصاريح العمل في الإمارات أو الاستعداد للحصول عليها عند التوظيف.
المهارات الشخصية:
- مهارات قوية في حل المشكلات والانتباه للتفاصيل.
- مهارات تواصل وعمل جماعي ممتازة.
- القدرة على العمل تحت الضغط والتكيف مع الأولويات المتغيرة أثناء فترات التوقف.
