Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior ESG Specialist with a proven track record in ESG reporting across multiple sectors. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in stakeholder engagement, materiality assessments, ESG awareness, and report development. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical knowledge of ESG frameworks and reporting standards, combined with excellent communication and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

ESG Consulting and Reporting

• Lead stakeholder engagement processes to conduct ESG Materiality Assessments.
• Develop and deliver ESG awareness sessions for internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare comprehensive ESG/CSR reports aligned with global frameworks such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, IR, and SDGs.
• Develop ESG Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights for clients.
• Ensure compliance with local and international ESG regulations and guidelines, including those issued by each GCC country.

Business Development

• Identify and pursue new ESG consulting opportunities across industries.
• Build and maintain relationships with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders.
• Develop proposals, presentations, and marketing materials to promote the firm’s ESG services.
• Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and webinars to showcase expertise and expand the client base.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to create and execute business development strategies aligned with the firm's goals.

Team Leadership and Strategy

• Mentor and guide junior team members in ESG projects and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outputs.
• Stay updated on emerging ESG trends, technologies, and regulations to enhance service offerings.

Candidate Skills and Qualifications:

Required Skills

• Minimum 7-8 years of experience in ESG consulting, with a focus on ESG reporting and business development.
• Proven expertise in stakeholder engagement, materiality assessments, and preparing ESG/CSR reports.
• Strong knowledge of global ESG frameworks and standards (GRI, SASB, TCFD, IR, and SDGs).
• Excellent business development skills, including client relationship management and proposal development.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in multi-sector ESG reporting and consulting.
• Familiarity with regional ESG guidelines.
• Certification in ESG or sustainability-related fields (e.g., SASB, GRI, TCFD).
• Knowledge of digital tools and software for ESG data management and reporting.

Educational Background

• Master’s degree in environmental science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field.
