Job Opportunity: Operations & Maintenance Engineer (O & M Engineer)
Job Details
Business Unit: Eastern Hemisphere
Location: Southern Governorate, Bahrain
Job Summary
Responsible for all aspects of plant engineering, including:
- Reviewing technical processes.
- Optimizing plant processes and equipment performance.
- Analyzing plant performance using data evaluation, trending, and reporting.
- Ensuring the functionality of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) for process control and safety.
- Leading shutdown planning and execution.
- Managing construction and commissioning projects.
- Ensuring compliance with inspection, testing, and asset integrity plans.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop performance metrics to monitor and correct plant performance.
- Capture, organize, and visualize data for real-time understanding of the plant’s condition.
- Prepare and share necessary reports with the Asset Team, Engineering, and Management to understand production and equipment status.
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s or Technical degree in Engineering.
- At least 5 years of supervisory or leadership experience in the gas sector.
- Ability to work under challenging conditions, including remote sites, noisy environments, hot and humid climates, vibrating platforms, long working hours, and shift schedules.
- Availability for on-call duties and ability to work under pressure on multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in computer skills with good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Trained and capable of assuming the role of O&M Lead when required.
- A motivated team player, capable of working in a culturally diverse environment and supervising a team.

ملخص الوظيفة
مسؤول عن جميع جوانب هندسة المحطات، بما في ذلك:
- مراجعة العمليات التقنية.
- تحسين أداء المعدات والعمليات.
- تحليل أداء المحطة من خلال تقييم البيانات وإنشاء التوجهات.
- ضمان كفاءة نظام التحكم والسلامة (DCS).
- إدارة المشاريع التي تشمل البناء والتشغيل.
- ضمان الالتزام بخطط التفتيش واختبار سلامة الأصول.
المسؤوليات والواجبات الأساسية
- تطوير مؤشرات الأداء لضمان قياس وتصحيح الأداء بشكل دوري.
- تنظيم البيانات وتصويرها لفهم الحالة الفعلية للمحطة في الوقت الفعلي.
- إعداد ومشاركة التقارير مع فرق الأصول والهندسة والإدارة لفهم حالة الإنتاج والمعدات.
المؤهلات
- الحد الأدنى: درجة البكالوريوس أو التقنية في الهندسة.
- خبرة لا تقل عن 5 سنوات في دور قيادي مشابه في قطاع الغاز.
- القدرة على العمل في ظروف صعبة تشمل مواقع نائية، ضوضاء، حرارة ورطوبة مرتفعة، منصات تهتز، وساعات عمل طويلة مع جداول مناوبات.
- التوفر للعمل عند الطلب والقدرة على تحمل ضغط العمل.
- إتقان العمل على الحاسب الآلي ومعرفة جيدة بحزمة Microsoft Office.
- مهارات قيادية لتولي دور قائد التشغيل والصيانة عند الحاجة.
- شخصية محفزة تعمل بروح الفريق، قادرة على الإشراف على فريق متنوع ثقافيًا.
