Our client is seeking an experienced HSE Engineer to develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and programs. The role involves ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, conducting risk assessments, and leading investigations into incidents and accidents. You’ll be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the creation of a safety-first culture across projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and programs.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international HSE regulations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits.
- Identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and report on HSE performance and compliance.
- Conduct HSE training sessions for employees, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
- Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, and near misses.
- Develop corrective and preventive action plans.
- Perform regular site inspections to ensure compliance with HSE standards.
- Prepare detailed reports on inspection findings and follow-up actions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HSE records and documentation.
- Prepare and submit regular HSE reports to management and regulatory bodies.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
- Coordinate emergency drills and exercises.
- Liaise with project managers, contractors, and regulatory authorities on HSE matters.
- Participate in HSE meetings and represent the organization in external forums.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or a related field.
- Professional certification in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA) is preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in HSE roles, preferably in large infrastructure projects.
- Proven track record of managing HSE programs in construction, civil engineering, or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

- تطوير خطط العمل التصحيحية والوقائية.

- إعداد تقارير مفصلة عن نتائج الفحوصات والإجراءات المتابعة.
- الحفاظ على سجلات HSE دقيقة وحديثة.
- إعداد وتقديم تقارير HSE دورية للإدارة والهيئات التنظيمية.
- تطوير وتنفيذ خطط وإجراءات الاستجابة للطوارئ.
- تنسيق التدريبات والتمارين للطوارئ.
- التنسيق مع مديري المشاريع والمقاولين والسلطات التنظيمية في شؤون HSE.
- المشاركة في اجتماعات HSE وتمثيل المنظمة في المنتديات الخارجية.
الشروط
- درجة بكاليروس في الهندسة أو علوم البيئة أو الصحة المهنية أو مجال ذي صلة.
- شهادة احترافية في HSE (مثل NEBOSH أو IOSH أو OSHA) مفضلة.
- خبرة لا تقل عن 8 سنوات في أدوار HSE، ويفضل في مشاريع البنية التحتية الكبيرة.
- سجل حافل في إدارة برامج HSE في مشاريع البناء والهندسة المدنية أو الصناعات ذات الصلة.
- معرفة قوية بالأنظمة والمعايير وأفضل الممارسات الخاصة بـ HSE.
- مهارات تحليل وحل مشكلات ممتازة.
- مهارات تواصل وبناء علاقات فعّالة.
