Workshop Technician
Job Summary:
The Completion workshop technician plays a crucial role in maintaining all workshop-related activities to support Completion tools operations.
Responsibilities/Accountability & Authority:
- Maintain inventory count and product maintenance across all items.
- Organize and equip the Completion tools workshop with the necessary tools and equipment to meet client requirements.
- Provide daily support during operations team meetings and planning.
- Follow the Quality Management System (QMS) for all workshop activities, including Receiving, Dispatching, Inspecting, Make-up/Torque, Pressure Testing, Documenting, etc., according to NOV standards and client requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement to enhance customer service quality.
- Support manufacturing assembly for new products.
- Ensure all personnel involved in workshop activities are qualified as per the competency system.
- Provide training for newly hired NOV personnel and mentor new trainees in workshop and assembly activities.
Behavioral Skills/Competencies & Experience Required:
- A degree in Technical, Engineering, Oil and Gas, or a related field.
- Demonstrable work experience in all workshop-related activities.
- Proven expertise in Oil and Gas operations.
- Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and company systems.
- Familiarity with workshop operation processes.

QHSE Specialist
Job Summary:
The QHSE Specialist is responsible for managing and improving the organization’s Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System to protect employees, the environment, and company assets.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect and verify technical documentation for incoming and outgoing goods.
- Track the status of inspections and deviations.
- Follow up with suppliers regarding quality, inspections, and verifications.
- Communicate quality requirements to suppliers and partners.
- Advise on technical standards, review, and maintain technical documentation.
- Facilitate pre-shipment inspections, record reviews, and final documentation based on customer requirements.
- Contribute to the standardization of quality requirements.
- Assist in reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) within quality and HSE areas.
- Participate in internal and external audits.
- Support the daily maintenance and operation of the company’s Quality and HSE management system.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Help create and maintain Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and Risk Assessments (RA).
- Manage waste and raw materials, ensuring compliance with labeling, inspections, and disposal procedures.
- Report and document all work-related injuries and claims in the internal tracking system.
- Conduct investigations and recommend corrective actions for injuries, illnesses, property damage, and environmental incidents.
- Help maintain safety certifications and provide necessary safety training.
- Assist in maintaining records for safety and environmental compliance according to regulations.
- Develop and implement site-specific HSE practices and procedures in line with NOV HSE management system and local regulations.
- Coordinate with Corporate HSE and/or Contractors/Suppliers for HSE programs (Industrial Hygiene, Respiratory Protection, Hearing Protection, Waste Management, etc.).
- Provide continuous evaluation of department processes to optimize resources and equipment for supporting HSE functions.
- Coordinate the collection of HSE data such as plan status, achievements, incident information, and corrective actions.
- Develop and deliver specialized HSE training modules as required.
Experience/Education/Skill-set Required:
- Diploma Degree.
- HSE certification (NEBOSH, OSHA, IADC).
- 3-5 years of experience in QHSE, specifically in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
