Position: Charging Engineer
Location: Poland, Portugal, Romania, Latvia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Italy
Experience: 2-4 years, 6-10 years, or up to 24 years
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Integration: Contribute to the integration and deployment of 5G/4G Core systems in cloud-native environments with a focus on Openstack, Aerospike (NoSQL), and containerized network functions (CNF/VNF).
- Operational Support: Manage configuration and operations for OCS (Online Charging System), PCRF (Policy and Charging Rules Function), DRA (Diameter Routing Agent), and associated call flows.
- Troubleshooting & Analysis: Address core network issues for 4G/5G, specifically around SMF, PCF, NRF, CHF in 5G, and EPC core in 4G.
- Cloud Management: Use Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenStack for containerized platforms and network function virtualization.
- Monitoring & Diagnostics: Apply Prometheus, Grafana, and Kibana for performance monitoring and system analysis in cloud environments.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ensure seamless integration of core network elements with cloud platforms, including AWS/OpenStack.
- Protocol Knowledge: Maintain strong expertise in Diameter and HTTP2 protocols for effective 4G/5G core solutions.
Required Skills
- Linux & Cloud Proficiency: Expertise in Linux, OpenStack, and cloud environments such as AWS.
- Database Management: Experience with Aerospike (NoSQL) or similar databases in cloud deployments.
- Containerization: Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes for managing containerized applications.
- Protocol Mastery: In-depth knowledge of Diameter and HTTP2 protocols for 4G/5G network communication.
- 5G/4G Core Expertise: Experience in 5G core (SMF, PCF, NRF, CHF) and 4G EPC systems.
- Monitoring Tools: Skilled with Prometheus, Grafana, and Kibana for network monitoring.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities for complex network issues.
- Cloud & Virtualization: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and OpenStack, and in VNF/CNF environments.
Educational Qualification
- Degree: B.Tech. in Computer Science/ECE or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years with a solid understanding of 5G and 4G EPC networks.
