About the Job

We are seeking a Senior Commercial Finance Manager to join our team in Bahrain, reporting to the Head of Finance – Middle East. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in driving strategic growth initiatives, influencing commercial decisions, and supporting business profitability.

Details

• Be a strategic partner to the regional Commercial Directors in all key business decisions.
• Provide full transparency towards the Head of Finance / VP Finance for segments and towards Global Finance.
• Deliver commercial results by actively influencing day-to-day decisions through tracking of underlying drivers of sales and profitability.
• Drive commercial growth initiatives, validating key milestones, and seeking gap-closing opportunities.

• Prioritize regular reviews of customer, brand, and channel profitability, leading to customer deep-dives.
• Conduct performance reviews with Commercial Directors to identify under-performance and drive corrective actions.
• Challenge the commercial teams with data-driven insights to explore new ways to drive growth and mitigate risks.
• Take accountability for new business wins and large-scale tender processes.
• Manage commercial and marketing overheads and challenge marketing effectiveness.
• Use customer segmentation to drive commercial finance actions.

• Provide detailed insights on reporting and forecasting variances, focusing on forecast accuracy.
• Ensure that pricing strategies are implemented to mitigate cost increases and protect profitability.
• Own the commercial forecasting process within the region.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent).
• 5 years of commercial finance experience at a senior level.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.

• Experience in stakeholder management, forecasting, and strategic thinking.
• Strong relationship-building and collaboration abilities.
• Business acumen with a focus on customer needs and driving results.
