Job Summary

The ESG Business Developer is responsible for driving the growth and development of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives within the organization. This role involves identifying opportunities, building relationships with stakeholders, and developing solutions that align with clients’ ESG goals and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ESG principles, industry trends, and business development strategies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the ESG sector.
• Develop strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including corporations, NGOs, and regulatory bodies.
• Conduct market research to stay informed about ESG trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities.

2. Client Engagement:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their ESG objectives and challenges.
• Propose tailored solutions, including consultancy, certifications, and training services.
• Ensure excellent client relationship management to foster long-term partnerships.

3. ESG Strategy and Implementation:

• Support clients in integrating ESG frameworks and standards (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD).
• Provide insights into sustainable practices, carbon footprint reduction, and social impact initiatives.
• Guide the implementation of ESG reporting and compliance measures.

4. Collaboration and Communication:

• Work with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and product development, to align offerings with market needs.
• Create compelling proposals, presentations, and reports for stakeholders.
• Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and meetings.

5. Monitoring and Reporting:

• Track the progress of business development efforts and measure their impact.
• Prepare reports on client engagements, project outcomes, and market insights.
• Stay updated on ESG regulations, guidelines, and best practices.

Key Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sustainability, Environmental Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in business development, sustainability consulting, or a related role.
• Proven track record in managing ESG-related projects or initiatives.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of ESG frameworks, certifications, and reporting standards.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret ESG metrics and data.
• Proficiency in project management and strategic planning.

• من 3 إلى 5 سنوات من الخبرة في تطوير الأعمال أو الاستشارات في الاستدامة أو دور مشابه.
• سجل حافل في إدارة مشاريع أو مبادرات مرتبطة بـ ESG.

المهارات:

• فهم قوي للأطر والشهادات ومعايير التقارير المتعلقة بـ ESG.
• مهارات تواصل وتفاوض ممتازة.
• عقلية تحليلية مع القدرة على تفسير مقاييس وبيانات ESG.
