HVAC Supervisor

Company Overview:

Position Summary:

The HVAC Supervisor will oversee site operations, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure the successful execution of HVAC projects, such as the installation and maintenance of chilled water systems. Key responsibilities include monitoring progress, inspecting materials, managing work inspection requests (WIR), supervising commissioning, tracking attendance, and ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise all activities related to chilled water piping, pumps, valves, and other HVAC components.
2. Ensure all installations and repairs comply with technical specifications, drawings, and safety standards.
3. Monitor the progress of chilled water system work to guarantee timely and high-quality completion.
4. Ensure all work aligns with approved designs and project specifications.
5. Evaluate and supervise the performance of subcontractors involved in chilled water system installations and repairs.
6. Provide guidance and troubleshoot technical issues for subcontractors to ensure prompt resolution.
7. Inspect materials (pipes, fittings, insulation, etc.) delivered to the site to confirm they meet project requirements.
8. Prepare and manage work inspection requests (WIR), ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
9. Oversee the testing and commissioning of chilled water systems to ensure optimal efficiency.
10. Identify and resolve any issues during commissioning to ensure the system meets design and performance standards.
11. Monitor and record attendance of site workers and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with company policies.
12. Enforce safety regulations and best practices for chilled water systems on the job site.
13. Ensure all work complies with local laws, industry standards, and company safety policies.
14. Provide regular updates and reports to the project manager regarding site progress and any challenges encountered.
15. Communicate effectively with the project team, management, and clients to keep all stakeholders informed about the project's status.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in supervising HVAC projects or a similar role.
• Extensive knowledge of chilled water systems, including piping, pumps, valves, and associated HVAC components.
