Job Description
Job Summary
The Field Service Engineer/Technician (FSE/FST) will play a critical role in supporting Leidos' commitment to providing exceptional technical services at airports. This position requires a self-starter who is team-oriented and focused on delivering top-notch customer service. The FSE/FST will be responsible for on-site support, including installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of complex X-ray and CT-based systems integrated into larger airport systems.
System Types Include (but not limited to):
- Checkpoint CT systems
- Explosive Detection Systems (EDS)
- Automatic tray return systems (ATRS)
- Explosive trace detection systems (ETD)
- Millimeter wave technology passenger screening (MMW)
The FSE/FST must follow protocols, resolve system malfunctions, and escalate issues as needed. The role may also involve travel to various airport and Leidos customer sites.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct daily inspections and perform preventive maintenance
- Troubleshoot system faults and assist with minor component replacements
- Support operators with system login issues
- Perform corrective maintenance and radiation surveys
- Prepare RMA repairable parts for shipment and track quality issues
- Ensure compliance with Leidos safety policies and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Maintain tools and test equipment
- Provide detailed reports on maintenance activities
- Perform additional tasks as required
Position Requirements
- Degree in electronics technology, mechanical or electrical engineering, or equivalent military training
- 3+ years of experience in field service, particularly in integrated systems technology
- Experience with X-ray or CT systems in an airport setting is a plus
- Computer proficiency (Linux/Unix preferred)
- Skilled in using test equipment (DVM, oscilloscope), with high voltage and X-ray experience
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work under pressure
- Adaptability to changing shifts and on-call duties
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally
- Physical ability to lift/carry 25kg and push/pull up to 90kg
- Ability to work in industrial environments with high temperatures and noise

The salary range for this position at Leidos is determined by factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, and market alignment. Compensation is not guaranteed and may be influenced by internal and external factors.

المسؤوليات الأساسية
- إجراء عمليات التفتيش اليومية وتنفيذ الصيانة الوقائية
- تشخيص أعطال النظام والمساعدة في استبدال المكونات البسيطة
- دعم المشغلين في مشاكل تسجيل الدخول
- تنفيذ الصيانة التصحيحية والمسح الإشعاعي
- إعداد الأجزاء القابلة للإصلاح/للإرجاع للشحن وتتبّع مشكلات الجودة
- التأكد من الامتثال لسياسات السلامة في Leidos واستخدام معدات الوقاية الشخصية (PPE)
- صيانة الأدوات ومعدات الاختبار
- تقديم تقارير مفصلة عن أنشطة الصيانة
- تنفيذ مهام إضافية حسب الحاجة
متطلبات الوظيفة
- درجة في تكنولوجيا الإلكترونيات أو الهندسة الميكانيكية أو الكهربائية أو تدريب عسكري معادل
- خبرة لا تقل عن 3 سنوات في الخدمة الميدانية، ويفضل في تكنولوجيا الأنظمة المتكاملة
- خبرة في أنظمة الأشعة السينية أو التصوير المقطعي في بيئة المطارات تعتبر ميزة إضافية
- إتقان استخدام الكمبيوتر (يفضل Linux/Unix)
- مهارة في استخدام معدات الاختبار (DVM، راسم الذبذبات)، مع خبرة في المعدات ذات الجهد العالي والأشعة السينية
- مهارات خدمة العملاء الجيدة والقدرة على العمل تحت الضغط
- التكيف مع تغيرات الدوام والعمل تحت الطلب
- القدرة على السفر محليًا ودوليًا
- القدرة الجسدية على حمل 25 كجم ودفع/سحب 90 كجم
- القدرة على العمل في بيئات صناعية ذات درجات حرارة وضوضاء عالية
