As we grow our tech function, we are hiring an Engineering Manager. This high-impact role sits at the heart of our engineering organization and is responsible for the team behind
the core Penny Procure product, reporting directly to the CTO.
Responsibilities
- Delivery and Execution: Take accountability for delivery across your squad(s) and collaborate with the broader product delivery organization, including Design and Product.
- Engineering and Operational Excellence: Foster high standards for engineering excellence within your teams, being accountable for technical outcomes and individual engineer performance.
- People Leadership: Lead a group of approximately 10 engineers, providing support, coaching, and development through regular one-on-ones and continuous feedback.
- Technical Influence: Partner with senior engineers to drive technical initiatives that enhance engineering practices.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Build strong relationships with stakeholders and create an environment for engineers to excel.
- Organizational Impact: Collaborate with the wider engineering organization to contribute to company-wide managerial and technical best practices and standards.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Experience:
- Previous experience as a software engineer (5+ years).
- Previous experience as a team lead or engineering manager (2+ years).
Nice to Have
- Experience at a fast-growing startup.
- Experience building SaaS products for enterprise customers.
- Familiarity with a MEAN stack (MongoDB, ExpressJS, Angular, Node.js).

المؤهلات والمهارات المطلوبة
- الخبرة:
- خبرة سابقة كمهندس برمجيات (5 سنوات أو أكثر).
- خبرة سابقة كقائد فريق أو مدير هندسي (سنتان أو أكثر).
يُفضل
- خبرة في شركة ناشئة سريعة النمو.
- خبرة في بناء منتجات SaaS للعملاء من الشركات.
- معرفة بتقنية MEAN (MongoDB، ExpressJS، Angular، Node.js).
