- Enhance productivity by utilizing lean tools and Six Sigma methodologies (e.g., value stream mapping, 5S, Kanban) to eliminate losses such as delays, duplication, and product defects.
- Coach operational teams in continuous improvement techniques, fostering a proactive CI culture within their teams.
- Develop and conduct training programs on CI tools and techniques.
- Support facilities in maintaining their continuous improvement projects in the Onbase database.
- Assist sites with scoping CI projects and analyzing current processes for improvement.
- Review implementation requirements to assess site personnel or resource needs and negotiate with involved areas.
- Lead the implementation plans for specific facilities, maintaining 5-year plans for Standard Work and other CI initiatives.
- Audit sites for certification or sustainability of CI certifications.
Principal Accountabilities
- Ensure effective communication and understanding of CI goals and strategies across all levels of the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent professional qualification.
- Preferred: Industrial Engineering Degree.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with a goal-oriented and team-oriented mindset.
- Preferred experience in project management and a background in continuous improvement (Six Sigma or Lean).
Technical Skills
- Project experience in continuous improvement using and coaching CI tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with the TPM framework for factory improvement.
- Experience in a consumer goods manufacturing environment.
- Strong financial and commercial awareness with understanding across all business functional areas.
