About the Job
GAC Bahrain is seeking a dedicated and experienced IT professional with a strong focus on coding and a passion for Power Automation for the role of IT Automation Specialist, based in Bahrain. If you have a solid background in optimising IT systems, developing efficient workflows, and delivering impactful solutions, this role will allow you to drive efficiency and innovation within our IT operations. Your coding expertise will also be invaluable in supporting our team with ongoing projects.
Job Requirements
- Analyse existing IT systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and automation using Microsoft Power Automate.
- Apply strong knowledge of SQL and extensive scripting experience in coding Stored Procedures, Functions, and Triggers using SQL Server.
- Design and manage databases based on application requirements.
- Develop and implement automated workflows to streamline business processes, enhancing efficiency and productivity.
- Leverage your coding skills to develop customised solutions and support the IT team on various projects.
- Develop and implement software, including web or client/server applications, using the latest development platforms, according to business requirements. This includes modifying and maintaining existing and new applications.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for automated systems, coding-related tasks, and other IT infrastructure.
- Monitor and maintain automated systems to ensure optimal performance and resolve issues.
- Work closely with various departments to understand their IT needs and provide automated solutions that meet their requirements.
- Ensure that all automated systems are secure, compliant with company policies, and adhere to best practices for data protection and IT governance.
- Lead and manage IT projects related to system automation, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope and budget.
- Support users in answering queries, locating information, guiding and reviewing technical requirements, and providing satisfactory resolutions.
- Conduct regular automated system reviews to identify further improvement and optimisation opportunities.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, service providers, and regulatory bodies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in automation technology and coding, and propose innovative solutions to enhance our IT operations.
- Improve collaboration by developing and automating a continuous delivery pipeline using DevOps and version control of Applications as per GAC Group IT Standards.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a related field, with a strong focus on coding and automation.
- Proficiency in coding languages relevant to IT automation and system integration.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, databases, and network systems.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to IT and automation, PB, SYBASE, development of web and cloud-based applications.
- Able to work in flexible working hours.
- Time management skills – outstanding organisational and time management skills.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

متطلبات الوظيفة
- تحليل أنظمة وعمليات تكنولوجيا المعلومات الحالية لتحديد مجالات التحسين والأتمتة باستخدام Microsoft Power Automate.
- تطبيق معرفة قوية بـ SQL وخبرة واسعة في البرمجة باستخدام الإجراءات المخزنة (Stored Procedures) والوظائف (Functions) والمحفزات (Triggers) باستخدام SQL Server.

- تطوير وتنفيذ البرمجيات، بما في ذلك تطبيقات الويب أو التطبيقات العميل/الخادم، باستخدام أحدث منصات التطوير وفقًا لمتطلبات العمل. يشمل ذلك تعديل وصيانة التطبيقات الحالية والجديدة.

- دعم المستخدمين في الإجابة على الاستفسارات، والعثور على المعلومات، وتوجيههم في المتطلبات الفنية وتقديم الحلول المرضية.
- إجراء مراجعات دورية للأنظمة المؤتمتة لتحديد فرص التحسين والتطوير المستمر.
- الحفاظ على علاقات قوية مع أصحاب المصلحة الداخليين والخارجيين، بما في ذلك الموردين ومقدمي الخدمات والهيئات التنظيمية.
- البقاء على اطلاع بأحدث الاتجاهات والتطورات في تكنولوجيا الأتمتة والبرمجة واقتراح حلول مبتكرة لتحسين عمليات تكنولوجيا المعلومات لدينا.
- تحسين التعاون من خلال تطوير وأتمتة خط تسليم مستمر باستخدام DevOps والتحكم في نسخ التطبيقات وفقًا لمعايير مجموعة GAC لتكنولوجيا المعلومات.
المؤهلات المطلوبة
- درجة البكالوريوس في علوم الحاسوب أو تكنولوجيا المعلومات أو مجال ذي صلة.
- خبرة لا تقل عن سنتين في مجال ذي صلة مع تركيز قوي على البرمجة والأتمتة.
- إتقان لغات البرمجة ذات الصلة بأتمتة تكنولوجيا المعلومات وتكامل الأنظمة.
- فهم قوي للبنية التحتية لتكنولوجيا المعلومات وقواعد البيانات وأنظمة الشبكات.
- معرفة بالمعايير واللوائح الصناعية المتعلقة بتكنولوجيا المعلومات والأتمتة، PB، SYBASE، وتطوير تطبيقات الويب والسحابة.
- القدرة على العمل في ساعات عمل مرنة.
- مهارات إدارة الوقت – مهارات تنظيمية وإدارة وقت ممتازة.
