We are looking for an experienced
HSE Manager to manage the delivery of all Health, Safety, and Environment activities at our manufacturing facilities and commercial areas (offices, sales, warehouses). In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with internal and external standards, driving safety culture, and supporting the ongoing development of our HSE processes.
Key Responsibilities
- HSE Program Management: Coordinate the implementation of all HSE programs and processes across the facility or commercial function. Prepare annual HSE plans and build consensus for implementation.
- Compliance and Audit: Ensure compliance with company standards and local regulations, including conducting risk assessments, audits, and site inspections. Manage relationships with legal departments and local authorities.
- Capital Budgeting: Plan and manage the annual HSE budget to ensure the execution of initiatives and compliance with all internal and external standards.
- Risk Management: Lead risk assessments to identify hazards and implement preventive measures to minimize or eliminate accidents and asset losses.
- Training and Development: Ensure that proper training and mentoring programs are in place to build a safety-focused culture. Develop the HSE capabilities of safety specialists within the organization.
- Project Support: Provide HSE expertise for all new projects and change management activities to ensure the safe execution of operations.
What You Will Bring
You will bring a passion for safety and the following experience and knowledge:
- Extensive experience as a Health, Safety, and Environment Practitioner, preferably within a manufacturing or commercial setting.
- Proven track record in managing teams, driving change management, and leading complex projects.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and influencing skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in health and safety auditing and compliance management.

- Drive a safety culture focused on interdependency and consistent adherence to safety standards.
- Organize safety training to ensure employees understand and follow safety and environmental practices.
- Monitor compliance with HSE policies and regulations, prepare reports on findings, and lead investigations after incidents to prevent future occurrences.
- Stay updated on legislation and regulatory requirements affecting health, safety, and the environment.
- Provide expertise in specialist areas such as fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise management, occupational health, and waste management.
