Location: APMT Bahrain
Type: Full-TimeCritical Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
- College degree preferably in business, accounting, or mechanical/electrical engineering. Formal exposure in engineering or engineering-related discipline is preferred.
- CIPS qualification is a plus.
- At least five years of purchasing experience in private industry, preferably in shipping or transportation.
- Strong cost/price analysis and negotiation skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Good understanding of procurement practices and principles.
- Knowledge of stores, warehousing, material control, inventory control, and the relationship among purchasing, stores, and finance activities.
- Familiarity with engineering terms, drawings, and specifications.
- Basic knowledge of customs clearances.
- High ethical standards are essential.

- Master’s degree in accounting or a professional qualification (ACA).
- 7+ years of experience in accounting or controlling, preferably in the shipping industry.
- Strong communication, advising, and influencing skills.
- Detail-oriented with integrity and resilience.
- Experience working in challenging locations.
- People leadership experience and talent development skills.
- Relevant language skills for the geography.
- Lead the external and internal audit process.
- Ensure compliance with the internal control framework, local regulations, and other regulations (IFRS, VAT, etc.).

- درجة بكاليوس في الأعمال، المحاسبة، أو الهندسة الميكانيكية/الكهربائية. يُفضل وجود خبرة رسمية في الهندسة أو تخصصات ذات صلة.
- شهادة CIPS تُعتبر ميزة.
- خمس سنوات على الأقل من الخبرة في المشتريات في الصناعة الخاصة، ويفضل في الشحن أو النقل.
- مهارات قوية في تحليل التكاليف/الأسعار والتفاوض.
- مهارات تواصل شفهية وكتابية فعّالة.
- فهم جيد لممارسات ومبادئ المشتريات.
- معرفة بمخازن، التخزين، التحكم في المواد، إدارة المخزون، والعلاقة بين المشتريات، المخازن، والأنشطة المالية.
- معرفة بالمصطلحات الهندسية والرسوم البيانية والمواصفات الهندسية.
- معرفة أساسية بإجراءات التخليص الجمركي.
- يتطلب الأمر معايير أخلاقية عالية.

- درجة ماجستير في المحاسبة أو مؤهل مهني (ACA).
- خبرة 7 سنوات أو أكثر في المحاسبة أو التحكم، ويفضل في صناعة الشحن.
- مهارات تواصل قوية وقدرة على الإقناع.
- الاهتمام بالتفاصيل والنزاهة.
- القدرة على التعامل مع ظروف العمل الصعبة.
- خبرة في قيادة الفرق وتطوير المواهب.
- مهارات لغوية ذات صلة بالمنطقة.
مسؤوليات الالتزام:
- قيادة عملية التدقيق الخارجي والداخلي.
- ضمان الامتثال لإطار العمل الخاص بالرقابة الداخلية واللوائح المحلية وغيرها من القوانين (IFRS، VAT، إلخ).
