Responsibilities

Collaborate with regional technical lab personnel, Purchasing, Product Stewardship, Marketing, operations stakeholder across all business units to identify and deliver raw materials savings opportunities but also for the needs for the different projects running
Track status of regional raw material projects; maintain regular updates through project management system (Navigator) and remove barriers to deliver target financial outcomes.
Interaction with Raw Material Coordinators in other regions. Interaction with global/regional raw material suppliers may also be required.
Review raw material data analytics to identify opportunities and communicate with stakeholders to gain buy-in for savings projects. Provide recommendations for go/no go decisions on RM strategies and plans on behalf of control labs; communicate resource requirements and project timing to plan financial outcomes.

Area Continuous Improvement Manager
Major Tasks Performed

Enhance operational transparency by ensuring robust measurement of losses across all areas, such as creating loss trees.
Increase productivity by leading the use of lean tools and six sigma methodologies (e.g., value stream mapping, 5S, Kanban) to eliminate losses like delays, duplication, unnecessary movement, unclear communication, incorrect inventory, and product defects.
Coach operational teams in continuous improvement techniques and assist them in cascading this approach throughout their teams to foster a continuous improvement culture.
Develop and deliver training programs on continuous improvement tools.
Support facilities with the maintenance of continuous improvement projects in the Onbase database.
Assist sites with the scoping of continuous improvement projects and analyze current processes for improvement.

Regional Continuous Improvement Manager
