Backup Engineer

About the job

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Commvault\Backup Engineer located in Manama, Bahrain. The Commvault\Backup Engineer will be responsible for managing and maintaining the customers Commvault environment and work on implementation projects. The role requires to have good backup admin role skills, certain level of troubleshooting skills, understanding of IT infrastructure, trainings and willing to expand knowledge.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology, or IT Certificates with 1-2 years of work experience

Basic (or entry level) experience in managing and maintaining Commvault's\Veritas’s\Other Backup solutions environment in an enterprise storage environment, backup, recovery, archiving, and disaster recovery

Passion to acquire advanced Commvault management knowledge in addition to the current Backup solutions expertise

Basic experience with Powershell and Shell scripts

Basic experience with Microsoft Windows, Unix, and Linux operating systems

Basic experience with VMware and virtualization technologies

Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Professional certification such as Commvault\Veritas\Other Backup solutions Certified and/or other related certifications is a plus (optional)

هذا دور بدوام كامل في الموقع لمهندس النسخ الاحتياطي Commvault الموجود في المنامة، البحرين. سيكون مهندس النسخ الاحتياطي Commvault مسؤولاً عن إدارة وصيانة بيئة Commvault للعملاء والعمل على مشاريع التنفيذ. يتطلب الدور امتلاك مهارات جيدة في دور مسؤول النسخ الاحتياطي، ومستوى معين من مهارات استكشاف الأخطاء وإصلاحها، وفهم البنية الأساسية لتكنولوجيا المعلومات، والتدريبات، والرغبة في توسيع المعرفة.

المؤهلات
