Migration Engineer

About the job

Do you have 3+ years of experience as a Migration Engineer? We are looking for an EU citizen to join our team remotely.

Requirements:

3+ years of experience as a Migration Engineer

Experience with M365 SPO, Identity (AzureAD/EntralD)

Experience with SPMT and ShareGate

Experience with execution and troubleshooting of large data migrations

Experience with 2nd line support activities on SPO environments

DevOps WoW

Willingness to execute migrations during weekends (standby during migration)

Language(s): English (fluent)

Job Description:

Execute the day-to-day migration of several hundred Terabytes of data from the legacy file share solution to SharePoint Online

First point of contact to the data owners/ business migration managers for the execution of (planned) migrations

Ensure that migrations are completed on time, especially ensuring that critical milestones are met

Provide the relevant data for the dashboard and reports that allow senior management to be aware of progress on an ongoing basis

Escalate to the migration manager any issues that threaten meeting the milestones and require intervention

Hierarchically reports to the IT Area Lead for M365

Functionally reports to the Lead Engineer for Collaboration and Data.

تنفيذ عملية نقل يومية لمئات التيرابايت من البيانات من حل مشاركة الملفات القديم إلى SharePoint Online

نقطة الاتصال الأولى لأصحاب البيانات/مديري هجرة الأعمال لتنفيذ عمليات الهجرة (المخطط لها)

تأكد من اكتمال عمليات الترحيل في الوقت المحدد، وخاصة التأكد من استيفاء المعالم الهامة

توفير البيانات ذات الصلة بلوحة المعلومات والتقارير التي تسمح للإدارة العليا بأن تكون على دراية بالتقدم بشكل مستمر

تصعيد أي مشكلات تهدد تحقيق المعالم وتتطلب التدخل إلى مدير الهجرة

يقدم تقاريره بشكل هرمي إلى رئيس منطقة تكنولوجيا المعلومات في M365

يقدم تقاريره وظيفيًا إلى المهندس الرئيسي للتعاون والبيانات.
