Senior Designer (Mechanical & Piping)
Job Description
Coordinate and supervise Design Office (Mechanical and Piping) covering overall design ensuring consistency of design and presentation of deliverables while adhering to international standards.
Liaise with project engineers and designers to define project scopes and provide realistic man-hour estimates.
Manage resource allocation for the Design Office manpower.
Check and approve drawings for dimensional accuracy while adhering to international standards (QC).
Produce engineering deliverable lists for projects.
Act as a mentor and guide to junior designers and guide them throughout project execution.
Make sure that all in-house project deliverables are indexed properly in Smart Plant Foundation (SPF) and all the PIDs are uploaded properly in Smart Plant PID (SPPID).
Skills
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
Minimum of 20 years’ experience in drafting with minimum 10 years in supervisory level in the field of GA drawings, piping layouts and isometric drawings, fabrication drawings for heat exchangers, tanks and pressure vessels, Structural drawings including base frames of pumps and other refinery equipment.
Have minimum of 10 years working with Owner/Operator.
Experience in construction.
Proficient in AutoCAD and Smart Plant applications such as SPPID, S3D and SPF.
Wide knowledge of materials and maintenance methods.
Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office applications.
Sound knowledge of Design specifications and international standards and codes.
Senior Instrument Engineer
Job Description
• Able to provide technical support to Instrument Maintenance Section, identifying the bad actors, recommend and implement long term solutions.
• Develop appropriate solutions to maintenance problems, using new or existing technologies, through innovation, creativity, and change.
• Study current practices and recommend optimum solutions in line with industry’s best practices to meet specific requirements for existing instrumentation and control systems.
• Develop standard documentation and specifications in line with the latest international standards.
• Maintain active dialogue with section and department heads and other managerial and supervisory staff with respect to effective maintenance of the instrumentation and control equipment and systems. Seek out opportunities for teamwork to improve the business and develops these with the help of the section head.
• Provide a successful, timely, and safe and cost – effective Instrument Maintenance service for all instrumentation and control equipment and systems under his area of responsibility.
• Monitor workload, team’s activities, and resources to ensure adequate resources are always available to implement the activities of the team and maintain reasonable backlog.
• Proficiency in Yokogawa Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and ESD systems.
• Strong background in field instrumentation and Analyzer instruments
• Familiarity with various PLC systems
• Focus on reliability-centered maintenance to ensure system efficiency and longevity.
• Proven track record in troubleshooting and resolving complex instrumentation issues.
• Skilled in overseeing calibration and testing of instruments for accuracy.
• Ability to lead root cause analysis investigations for equipment failure.

مصمم أول (ميكانيكي وأنابيب)
المسمى الوظيفي
تنسيق والإشراف على مكتب التصميم (الميكانيكية والأنابيب) الذي يغطي التصميم الشامل وضمان اتساق التصميم وتقديم المنتجات النهائية مع الالتزام بالمعايير الدولية.
التواصل مع مهندسي المشروع والمصممين لتحديد نطاقات المشروع وتقديم تقديرات واقعية لساعات العمل.
