ROLE SUMMARY:
The post holder will oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the institution's cybersecurity infrastructure and systems. The role will involve strategic planning, team leadership, and ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our IT infrastructure to support the institution's academic and administrative operations.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Computer Information systems, Computer Engineering, or related technical degree from an accredited institution. A master's degree is preferred.
10+ years of experience in managing cybersecurity systems and services.
Proficient in cybersecurity tools and methodologies, such as ITIL, COBIT, etc., and cybersecurity technologies and vendors, such as Cisco, Microsoft, AWS, etc.
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices, such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the education sector, such as FERPA and HIPAA, and experience implementing compliance controls.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire diverse and cross-functional teams, and senior management and stakeholders.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively, and deal with ambiguity and uncertainty.
Ability to work independently and proactively, as well as collaboratively and cooperatively, and adapt to changing and complex environments.
Certification in cybersecurity, such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, AWS, etc., is preferred.

Main Responsibilities:
Establish and communicate the cybersecurity vision, strategy, and direction of the university, involving senior management and key stakeholders, and ensuring buy-in and support.
Develop and implement a robust cybersecurity architecture framework for the university, encompassing networks, systems, applications, and data.
Collaborate with key stakeholders, including the IT team, academic departments, and administrative units, to understand their cybersecurity requirements and design appropriate solutions.

سيشرف صاحب المنصب على تصميم وتنفيذ وصيانة البنية التحتية وأنظمة الأمن السيبراني للمؤسسة. سيتضمن الدور التخطيط الاستراتيجي وقيادة الفريق وضمان موثوقية البنية التحتية لتكنولوجيا المعلومات وأمنها وقابليتها للتوسع لدعم العمليات الأكاديمية والإدارية للمؤسسة.
التعليم والخبرة:
درجة البكالوريوس في علوم الكمبيوتر أو أمن المعلومات أو أنظمة المعلومات الحاسوبية أو هندسة الكمبيوتر أو درجة تقنية ذات صلة من مؤسسة معتمدة. يفضل الحصول على درجة الماجستير.
أكثر من 10 سنوات من الخبرة في إدارة أنظمة وخدمات الأمن السيبراني.
- إتقان أدوات ومنهجيات الأمن السيبراني، مثل ITIL وCOBIT وما إلى ذلك، وتقنيات وموردي الأمن السيبراني، مثل Cisco وMicrosoft وAWS وما إلى ذلك.
