Job Purpose

Ensure the execution of projects in compliance with Yokogawa’s Quality Management System (QMS) and Field Services Management (FSM) procedures, specifically for the implementation of Instrument and Process Control Systems.

Trainee Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Support the generation of Engineering, Sales, and Service deliverables under the guidance of Lead Engineers.

• Prepare required software for development.

• Assist in application software configuration, design, assembly, and testing of network-based control systems.

• Perform graphic generation and testing for panels/services.

• Report daily activities to Lead Engineer.

• Prepare monthly reports on activities and learning outcomes.

• Develop and revise project documentation.

• Perform analyzer & PCI turnaround maintenance and oversee project assignments (for Chemical Engineers).

Qualifications & Experience

• B.E. / B.Tech in: Instrumentation & Control, Chemical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed audit plans, including scope, methodology, and timelines.

• Conduct risk assessments and prioritize audit activities.

• Perform audits to evaluate internal controls and compliance.

• Prepare audit reports with findings and recommendations.

• Monitor implementation of audit recommendations.

• Advise on process improvements and risk management.

• Ensure compliance with policies, J-SOX, and regulations.

• Maintain organized records and collaborate with departments.

• Conduct regional audits across Middle East & Africa.

• Provide statistical analyses and management reports.

Service Engineer

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s in Control Systems, Instrumentation, Electrical, or related field.

• 3–5 years of experience in instrumentation, industrial automation, or process control systems.

• Hands-on experience with Yokogawa systems (CENTUM VP DCS / ProSafe-RS ESD).

• Knowledge of ISA, IEC, SIL standards.

• Experience in system upgrades, FAT/SAT, commissioning, or shutdown support.

• Ability to read P&IDs, loop diagrams, logic, and wiring diagrams.

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and MS Office skills.

• Arabic speaking is an advantage.

• Willingness to travel frequently within the region.
