Security Guard

Job Description:

Responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent observation skills, and the ability to act swiftly in emergencies.

Responsibilities:

Patrol assigned areas regularly, including buildings, grounds, and parking lots, to detect and deter suspicious activity.
Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify potential security risks.
Respond to alarms, emergencies, and disturbances promptly and appropriately.
Conduct thorough security checks of individuals, vehicles, and bags entering and exiting the premises.
Enforce company security policies and procedures, as well as local laws and regulations.
Provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and clients while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Complete detailed reports of security incidents, observations, and actions taken during shifts.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and emergency services when necessary.
Maintain a neat and organized security station, including logging of visitors and deliveries.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent required.
Proven experience as a security guard or relevant position preferred.
Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
Excellent observational and surveillance skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Basic knowledge of security operations and procedures.
Valid [State] Security Guard License or ability to obtain one.
CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
Ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
