Senior Public Relations Communications Specialist
About the job
Fluent in both Arabic and English, the Senior Communications Specialist is responsible for providing support on all day-to-day tasks for retainer and project-based clients including the development and execution of communications plans and programs, coordinating with other support team members to ensure the successful completion of each task and being the primary point of contact with clients if required as well as working according to TRACCS’ standards, systems and procedures at all times.
The Senior Communications Specialist should be able to manage the basic day-to-day requirements of all his/her accounts, carry out all routine communications under the supervision of a senior manager or director, attend all client meetings to ensure that work is progressing as planned, all deliverables are being completed and deadlines are being met. He/She is also required to actively participate in brainstorming sessions for new ideas and developing plans for future tasks.
The Senior Communications Specialist must have:
● At least 3 years of experience working as a communications practitioner
● The ability to execute all tasks assigned promptly and with attention to detail
● Strong verbal and written communications in Arabic and English, and research skills
● Fundamental knowledge of the communications industry in the local market
● A sense of diplomacy and the ability to earn the trust of his/her colleagues and clients
● The necessary temperament and expertise to work in high pressure situations
