JOB DESCRIPTION
This role will manage the trading team responsible for sourcing and selling wholesale messaging to customers and partners ensuring that message routes are procured according to specified quantity, quality, and cost requirements, and sold to customers and partners with healthy margines, while monitoring the quality and price changes of routes and reacting rapidly to maintain GP growth.
This is a professional people management role responsible for managing a team of messaging traders responsible for selling the International Connectivity products and managing the suppliers and routes to maximise Gross Profit (‘GP’) target. As a people manager you are responsible for establishing the environment for your team to outperform. This will include leading the team, providing direction, coaching, and setting and managing expectations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare and review plans annually, quarterly and monthly including assessments of the market, go to market plans, marketing initiatives and sales strategies.
