About the job
JOB GOAL:
The Junior BCBA will provide support to individuals and their families by providing services in Applied Behavior Analysis, function analyses and assessment, behavior acquisition and reduction procedures, and adaptive life skills. The Candidate will also participate in providing training to the ABA Therapists.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and implementation of individualized ABA-based intervention programs for children with behavioral challenges and/or those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) or other Developmental Disabilities.
Provide on-going monitoring and evaluation of ABA-based intervention programs.
Provide training to Behavioural Interventionists, parents and/or other related parties.
Provide on-going training, monitoring and evaluation of Behavioural Interventionist.
Conduct assessment activities related to the need for behavioral interventions.
Design and present training workshops.
Research the literature related to ABA-based interventions.
Participate in clinical team meetings with Clinical Director/ Clinical Supervisor and other colleagues.
Design data collection protocols and interpret data to make data-based decisions relative to each child’s program.
Collaborate with Speech and Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and other professionals with regards to individual child’s program.
