Lead Qaulity Assurance Engineer
About the job
RE Partners is seeking a Lead/Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join a brand new team that will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Data and overall Engineering pipeline solutions and practices. You will collaborate closely with our data engineering and development teams to understand project requirements and develop comprehensive test plans, as well as interface with various stakeholders and planning sessions. This position requires a strong understanding of Data Engineering concepts including Machine Learning/AI, CI/CD pipelines, and experience with testing in a GCP environment. This position has an expectation of hands on knowledge, and the ability to dig into Python to understand and isolate problems.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute manual test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of our Data Engineering and Machine Learning/AI solutions, as well as overall engineering quality.
Collaborate with the Data Engineering and Development teams to understand project requirements and develop comprehensive test plans.
Identify and document software defects and collaborate with the development team to resolve them.
Perform regression testing to ensure that new features and enhancements do not negatively impact existing functionality.
Working experience running DB queries to diagnose and investigate issues
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes and methodologies.
Provide clear and concise reports on test results and participate in project status meetings.
