Job Purpose:
The purpose of the Data Analyst in the Wholesale/Transaction Banking Division is to enable Bank vision to become a data-driven organization. By harnessing the power of data analytics, the role supports pivotal business decision-making processes, ensuring that strategic and operational decisions are informed by accurate, timely, and relevant data.
Principal Responsibilities, Accountabilities and Deliverables of Role:
Collecting large datasets from diverse banking systems and platforms within the wholesale banking unit.
Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of data collected and managing data dictionary/data catalog effectively.
Performing detailed data analysis to extract meaningful insights relevant to wholesale banking operations.
Utilizing statistical tools and methodologies to analyze data and forecast banking trends.
Creating dynamic reports and visualizations to represent analysis findings clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
Ensuring reports are accurate, timely, and cater to the specific needs of the Transaction Banking unit.
Transforming data into actionable intelligence that can support decision-making processes and strategic planning.
Identifying patterns and trends in complex data sets beneficial to wholesale banking strategies.
Working closely with other departments such as Risk Management, Finance, and Sales to provide analytical support.
