Responsibilities:
- Use lathes, mills, and other workshop machinery to turn, mill, drill, and complete components within specified dimensions and finish.
- Undertake mechanical and visual inspections of fabricated parts to ensure they meet specifications.
- Perform dimensional and mechanical testing as needed and rework components as required.
- Review samples, drawings, or instructions to understand the specifications of the output.
- Independently perform basic maintenance on equipment.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Previous working experience as a Machinist for 3 years.
- Hands-on experience with different manual and semi-automated tools and machines (lathes, milling, grinders, etc.).
- In-depth knowledge of the properties of metal and other materials.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items.
- High school diploma.
